I've been a user for quite some time and love this weather app! The snarky responses are best for the weather!
The Mac version is lagging light-years behind the iOS/iPadOS. Not only are the features and visuals now feel outdated, the app isn't even M1 native! Carrot used to be a leader when it comes to adapting to new SDKs/hardwares; not any more. It's such a shame...
i love this app and the ios version aswell i just wish the mac os version was more like the ios version its just more fun to use. the app is amazing dont get me wrong lol i cant say ive laughed as much as i have with a weather app before this one so thank you to the dev and keep up the amazing work!!!!!!
Snarky brat, but usually right about the little things. Or not. Depends on her mood and the location. Almost always right in one city I travel to, but often times wrong in our newest home town. Those delusions of power cause Carrot to think it's snowing when it isn't. But she's still fun.
Today 12/15/21 Carrot says its raining, actually, it's snowning at 125ft above sea level (my town) -- that weather data for oregon might need some fixing.
I really love Carrot weather. It's got a fun personality and easy to read UI. The big area I'd like to see the Mac app improved is with the new redesign and custmoization available on the iOS app. It's a huge upgrade in functionality
What a waste of money. You get a 5 day forecast displayed with some nice graphics, other than that this app does almost nothing of use. I expected something more than what I would get from oh weather.com or the like. Seriously, what is the poit of this?
This app is buggy and obnoxious. Seeking refund.
how do i shut them off?
Tough love for you Carrot, because I know you can take it: app is stellar on my iPhone, iPad, and Watch, but less stellar on my Mac. I made the mistake of buying sight unseen on the Mac assuming it had widgets, so that's on me. But now I get a brand new M1 Mac and find that Carrot Weather needs Rosetta to run—ew! That's on you. Overall keep up the great work, and I hope the Mac version gets some love soon.
