Regretfully, I am unabel to use the search function to search for emails in any of my folders as well as my In Box. This makes is beyond impossible to be productive.
Constant 80% CPU usage and frequent beachballs when composing emails. Huge regression - awful experience as a user.
I downloaded this because macOS's default Mail app is...crap. But holy heck I didn't expect Microsoft's to be worse! Is it really that hard for me to search for emails from a person by name? Is it really too hard to find an attachment in the past of an email thread? Microsoft... shaking my head... stop wasting your money making crap software, and stick to what you're good at!
I have been using this program for 10 years, It has stayed reliable. I use it for my everyday needs and it gets the job done.
I really like the software, but, support is terrible, alsolutely terrible. after going thru MS Support's rediculous way of speaking to a technical representativ I was on for for almost three hrs. After whcih they finally decided to excalate to a hireer level of support. The higher level support representative never call me at the designated appoint time. I then call in and had to go through a lot of details to get to the higher level, who they told me he would speak to the lower level peron sho called me and that lower level person would call me after he spoke to him to take care of the problem. I then went through a number of different things to fix the problem whidh was outlook asking me to load my password to get my emails, time after time after time. MS needs look into this because the problem or they will slowly start loosing customers.
Really happy with how progressive MS has been with their suite of apps and how they are not ignoring us mac users. Just try and get the Sales Force Connection fixed please.
give me my emails
I've used another system, Exchange, and find it much better. Outlook is unnecessarily complicated, and very difficult to use.
The search function with multiple accounts is an unreliable nightmare. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When you have pressing business and you need to work fast, these types of glitches can derail you at the worst times. Email threads are not naturally presented, so rather than showing you the previous messages in the chain, it just says "You replied to this message." You have to go into your "Sent" folder to see the details. What a mess. It's pretty much everything you assume about Microsoft products. Clunky, unreliable, frustrating, unintuitive. Again, my work forces me to use it... otherwise, I would avoid it like the corona virus. (Too soon?)
I'm on a 2019 Macbook Air, and this application takes way too long to launch considering that my computer is still fairly new. I hate how clunky Microsoft apps feel on my computer.
