UPDATE: I finally took the bait and paid for premium. And the app still won’t let me do anything that’s not free. I have the receipt and it’s saying I still need to upgrade, but I’m not going to pay AGAIN for this. Honestly I searched the app and website and anywhere I could find for customer service or a contact form and I haven’t found any way of contacting you about this issue except for right here. So unfortunately my customer service complaint is now also part of my review. Please get in touch so we can straighten things out. Thank you! I want SO BADLY to like this app. Honestly I’m rooting for you, and my experience is just consistently frustrating. Ps here’s my actual review: First of all, I think the questions we get to fill out are the best of any dating app I’ve been on in terms of finding people who are cool and deep and intentional. So I appreciate how much bio space there is for good questions not just surface things. But why even pretend to have a free version of the service when you actively keep people who like me out of my daily matches so by definition I will never make a connection for free? It seems ridiculous that I sat on this app for a month without a single connection. I get that you’re trying to be a paid app and I respect that, but then don’t pretend to have a free version. Bc really you actually don’t provide any free services and it feels shady to have to figure that out on my own. Would love to hear from you wonderful folks creating this. 🙌🏼💕
Just a scheme for full version with no trial access. No thank you.
They don’t have a enough options. There isn’t a ‘None’ check for religion/ ‘Don’t Believe’ for astrology. Your forced to be religious and believe in concepts or be the creepy person who clicks ‘Rather Not Say’, which is also not the issue. They also lack ‘Outgrew’ for cigarettes and alcohol. For a site that gets to the heart of things you can’t really represent yourself accurately. On top of that, your daily matches are completely random. Half of them don’t have a profile filled out. There is no algorithm that will match you with say other vegans or sober people. So your daily 10 consistent of alcoholics who eat anything. They don’t do the most basic job they have, matching people.
Craptastic at letting you interact with the app before committing money. Seriously only 3 likes a day and you can see only 10 profiles a day with basic. You cannot make a decision to throw down $ with such pitiful options. You can’t even see who liked you so you can choose to pay to respond to them. Love the concept but their implementation leaves too much on the table.
This app is completely different than any that I’ve ever seen. I love the way that it really gets to the core of who you are. The lifestyle filters are helpful to be able to determine if someone is a good fit. It seems that it’s not widely adopted yet, so the selection of individuals limited. But then, I’m really only looking for one person. 😉 The match, then message approach leaves things a bit more to the algorithmic fates than I’d like. But, the premium feature allows you to message anyone, which cuts through the red tape. Overall, I love the intention and approach to this app!
I really wanted the other bad reviews to be wrong. This app generates 10 match previews each day that are supposed to be new and unique. I’ve been on this app for four days and so far every single day has repeated at least five of the same matches the day before and today I only have two new unique matches out of 10. I live in the Pennsylvania/Washington DC area and my mile radius is over 120 miles, age range 40-55. You cannot tell me that there are not 10 unique matches within that mile radius and age range! To upgrade, the cost of one week is the same cost as one month on other apps. I have liked five people - even with all of the limitations. Unless they like me too there’s no way to start up a conversation. I have to agree with the other reviews that the algorithms are not set up for you to meet mindful but to pay for an overpriced app that doesn’t even do the basics it said it would. Not gonna waste my time.
Too expensive for the user base. Maybe if there were more people using the site it might be worth it. Also you don’t have the option to browse by race. For people who prefer dating people of a specific race this forces you to view all possible matches of any race. I don’t want to pay for a service that enforces an ideology on me especially when no one uses this site for how expensive it is.
Signed up for premium, got charged, and still unable to access the premium features. Not worth the hassle
This app is the worst. After 6 days and several repeats in my daily matches, I have run out of local matches. I paid for the premium subscription. I live in Chicago. I’ve even expanded my searches to the largest radius possible and I still only see repeats, and I have yet to have a conversation with anyone. It’s too bad bc I think this has a lot of potential, but there are not enough users on here. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I did.
I recently signed up for premium and they billed me twice for it. When I contacted them they refused to do anything about it. I would never give this a company another penny of my money ever again. From before my most recent issue: Rarely works and when it does it works poorly. I’ve had to reinstall it (and rewrite my profile) several times in the last six months and it still doesn’t work. Too bad. Nice idea. Looking at the responses from reviews the past two weeks makes me think the developers are scammers. Despite nearly every review saying the app is buggy or doesn’t work they apologize and suggest we contact them for support. HELLO! When everyone is having problems your app is lousy and you should fix it. Note to developers: The same apology over and over again becomes meaningless when you refuse to fix your app!
