and reliable and easy to use. Data is available quickly and clearly. Of the 6 or 7 weather apps I have used this is by far the best.
The radar map has become very slow to load. It is frustrating. I really liked it before this happened.
With $20 of yearly subscription for iOS and iMac, this is the priciest app that I use. It works fine but probably is not worth the overall cost, since that is considerably more than TWC iOS subscription (no ads), which uses the same Watson weather service. Plus, this app is always s-l-o-w to load on XS and on iMac, and updates on iMac usually time out and won't load; and, the app on the watch never, ever has the correct temperature on the watch face complication and runs glacially slow (series 4 with gps). On the positive, the app has accurate weather and a very helpful UI.
Blank window when activating Doppler radar. Not cool when huge thunderstorm raging outside. What happened?
I had a issue when Forcast Bar renewed and charged me 11.99 for another year. That was ok but I kept getting a message that it was no longer updating every 10 min. The techs gave me instructions to solve the problem that did not work. I explained to a tech that The app would not let me me do as he instructed. He kept telling me it would work when it would not. I finally deleted the app with a app remover. I am out $11.99 if they do not refund my money .
A weather app that gets updated regularly, and that is not as common as it should be. Quick, helpful supprt. Helped we work though a subscription issue with integrity. Recommended.
I love the way the icon on my iPhone displayes the current temperature.
The badge never ever is transmitted to my iPhone by my Mac. The temperatures never match either. The warnings are late coming through if ever. Yesterday I got a tornado warning from the day before. The warning that comes over my cellular service came through fine. It's been a week or more since I spent several days exchanging email with one of the support techs, who pretty much just gave up and I haven't gotten another response back since. Too bad their team isn't more persistent or at least curious. I'll be looking for another weather solution now.
Got a new macbook and when reinstalling all the software, the new version of forecast bar wasn't able to find my lifetime subscription to 15min updates. Well, it turns out they moved to a subscription model that I have to pay yearly fee now and there isn't a way to go back. Time to move to another weather app.
