And easy to set up and to use. My internet provider uses "in-accu weather" so I needed something I could depend on on my desktop Mac. This is it. Small price to pay for a weather app that offers accurate current and future weather.
Never have any issues with it, and isn't slow to respond when I click on it (Like other menu bar apps.) :)
This Mac program looks great. However, there is something going on that drags my whole computer down. I'm using a newer MacBook Air. While the program is running, internet speeds dramatically decrease and the whole MacBook is slow. Also, the MacBook and iPhone app data does not match the Apple TV data. Ever. It's like there are different zip codes entered in, but they are the same. Different forecasts for different devices. Not good.
I joined Forecast Bar because of its reputation for being accurate and all the different weather features available. Tha app is more than a once and done Weather app. They are constantly striving to find ways to make it even better and that's Great.
This works as advertised on my iMac, my 2 iPhone 8s, my MacBook, and my iPad. BEST, as I travel it finds me and gives the local weather and forecast up-to-date. The forecasts seem to be as accurate as those given on local weather reports on local TV channels. I have learned that some clouds on radar are clouds of bugs and/or birds and NOT rain. This issues seems to also confuse local weather reports on TV.
Forecast Bar is a replacement for another weather app I used on my MacBook Pro for several years. This is a great app, graphs are quickly informative at just a glance. My phone is Android, so I have no use for the phone sync. Keep up the good work.
I am a weather weenie and I have tried A LOT of weather apps. Forecast bar is accurate, very configurable, and it looks great. I use it on my Mac, iPhone, and iPad.
The only reason I gave this a 4 star instead of a 5 is because I shut down my computer every night and in the morning when I reboot this app presents a screen asking me to upgrade. I am fine with updating manually so the upgrade request is annoying.
I have been using this for several months now. It is my favorite weather app and my go to app for weather. It is easy to use and intuitive. It was definitely worth paying for. Very impressive app.
...but now it requires a subscription for its basica functionality.
