Thank you for updating the app to be optimized for the newer iPad pros, before the final season of GOT hits. I have no complaint with the app now.
The app is just clunky and old feeling. You can finally save shows to your list but it’s not even the first thing you see when you open the app. I always need closed captioning but it doesn’t keep them on from episode to episode. Each episode, I have to open the app, let it buffer to show the connection with my TV and then turn on closed captioning again. Then because it only rewinds 10 seconds at a time, I have to keep rewinding, waiting for buffering, rewind again to get back to the beginning (when the closed captioning should have just been on). Not very assessable
Nice app, happy to have it work properly on my iPad.
Generally runs okay but lately it has been glitchy. I expect more from a premium type app that we pay for.
Doesn’t work with xbox one. When attempting to play content, it reverts back to the browse menu. Tried deleting app, re-installing, etc, etc, etc to no avail.
I wanted to pay a suscription , but hbo go is not available in my country looks like i will have to watch Game of thrones for free👎👎👎👎👎
When I start a show that was previously watched, the show starts at the very end, and then... it ends. There isn’t even enough time to pause/rewind. Abysmal.
HBO content is great. The app is horrible. The absolute worst app I have. I would give it 0 stars if I could.
Works just ok on mobile and tablet, but painful on Apple TV. Slow, poor picture quality and constantly buffering. Streaming quality well behind other apps. I don’t recall HBO Now being this bad before I gave it up.
If you are into watch 3 blue dots to blink at you while you wonder why you pay for this, then this is the app to use. I have tried many times to watch and it just simply will not load. I tried other streaming companies to see if it was my internet connection, or my device and they performed perfectly. They were also cheaper!
