Used to be my favorite for recipes

I was absolutely appalled when I opened my app one day and all the recipes were gone. I had saved so many and often used ones from the app to make for my friends and family. Now there is nothing but videos. I’m sorely disappointed. You’ve completely ruined the app. If I wanted cooking videos I’d go to YouTube or watch cooking shows on Netflix or Hulu.

They ruined the app completely

The layout and simplicity used to be great. Most of the recipes were free and it was interesting to browse through there list. The new logo and direction they moved the brand is a bad decision. I’m pretty bummed out that they had to ruin it completely. Looks like I’m going to have to uninstall.

Never could get it to work. Between Apple and Tastemade. What a nightmare. I’m pretty sure they are charging me for at least two accounts. One through Apple (don’t bother. The 2.99 monthly is worse than the free site. You barely get access to anything) One through Tastemade at 4.99 a month. Except although it took my payment info, I don’t have an account that I can find. Won’t email me a password reset either. Although I shouldn’t need to since I saved it all through my iPhone. But still Tastemade says it doesn’t know me. Nope I’m done. I’ll call my bank and block payment. Waste of time. Huge waste of time.

Horrible update

Hi tastemade team, you’ve ruined your app. I used to love watching the 20 second videos. Now all I see is 60 min shows? You’ve lost the real intent of this app, and the reason many of us downloaded the app, which was to watch easy recipes. Really disappointed and from reading the other recent comments I see others are as well. Bad business decision on your part..

Uhhh what happened

Lol this turned into Netflix like i can’t even find recipes anymore. The color scheme changed; everything is weird. Not into it. Not a fan.

Where. Are. The. Recipes?!

Look, if I wanted to watch non stop Tastemade videos I’d scroll Facebook or Snapchat for FREE. I thought I’d be getting access to the videos and the actual RECIPES so I can try and make the crap on the show but NOOOOO. I wasted $20 for a year of basically free videos. Gave 2 stars because I actually enjoy the video content, but I’m angry that you don’t give your subscribers the actual recipes.

I like it

I was looking for healthy foods to cook and cool videos that get straight to the point and Tastemade did not disappoint. I signed up so that I can watch shows in my behavioral health clinic in the Woodridge area of Washington, D.C.

Not happy with the new Tastemade

Before learning about this new update, I loved using Tastemade and watch the different recipe videos. Now, I can’t do anything on this new app. I am very dissatisfied.

HATE the update

WTH Tastemade?!? You got rid of so many recipes! And even if you didn’t get rid of them I can’t find them. I hate that you can’t view categories and topics of recipes (i.e. cheese, dessert, garlic, comfort food, etc). I can no longer browse to see what I might want to make. No, I have to swim through lifestyle shows if I want to even come close to that. I hate that you put priority on those shows instead of individual recipes. I hate that when you search something like “garlic” to find some garlic-y recipes, you only get THREE RESULTS that are from SHOWS, not individual recipes. I’m going to Tasty.

WAKE UP TASTEMADE! You’re doing something WRONG!

I LOVED this platform because it was ABOUT THE FOOD, like how Food Network used to be at its inception. Now like Food Network, Tastemade’s creators, or executives, driving forces(take your pick) seem to be going down the path of consumerism, capitalism and taking away the joy of the food and the cooking in exchange to “fit in” with the mainstream, social status of being “cool”, “”sexy”, and putting increased ratings, status, and dollars over the simple joy this platform used to bring. The wholesomeness is lost, and Tastemade really broke my heart with these changes. I understand that growth and change must happen, and this platform was definitely destined to grow, but it’s growing in a way that is self beneficial, and it is not blessing its followers like it used to. Wake up TASTEMADE before you lose your true essence and lose who you REALLY ARE, and lose your supporters.
