Unable to copy and paste multiple verses.

Do not waste your money on this app. I have no clue how it has such a high rating. If you need an app for preparing lessons and copying and pasting verses then keep on trucking. I regret spending money on this app.

After having used esword for years on Windows 7 ( a great program) It was a logical choice to put esword on the Mac. What a disappointment !! This is the worst, and I do mean worst, poorly designed, un-intuitive program that I have ever tried to use. I worked with their so called “help” (which is very much like the progam , quite un-helpful ), and having wasted hours trying to figure out what should be basic obvious operations I am unistalling it. The wasted $10 is bad, but worse is the wasted time . I respect Rick Meyers for his efforts for the Kingdom and think the Windows version should have had a price tag that gives the man a return for his work . What went wrong with the Mac version ? In my experience everything.

Not the best, hard to use

I purchased this and have found it to be the hardest electronic Bible to use that I own. Some books I can get to some I can't. I have found free apps for the mac that are more user friendly and contain similar features.

A great app

Fast and easy to use, but a couple of things would make it better: ability to use command W to close the resouce window and to add favorites to the menu bar. It is well work the cost many times over for any Bible student 5 stars!

So disappointed

For many years, I used and still use e-sword on my pc. The features supposed to be there are there and they work. That was a free version that I donated to because it was worth it and I loved it. This paid for version on my Macbook Air is beyond frustrating. I have literally spent hours trying to make it work to no avail. I have watched youtube videos, google searched and tried harder than any other program for Bible study and it is either impossible on this laptop or far too glitchy to be worth it. Highlighting will not work for me and I have tried every way I watched it being done. There is no help section to be found and honestly, it seems there is a small section working (the KJV Bible and a few commentaries, the notes section ... and that is pretty much it. If it was free, I would have just deleted it a long time ago and kept my digital studying to my office.

Not worth it

I am looking for a bible i can share with between devices and is able to highlight, bookmarks & leave notes on certain passages. I want to be able to have all my studies in one source. This site says it does all those things but when I go to highlight it doesnt even high light. Not worth $9.99. Olivetree offeres the same thing for FREE

Bought this just for Strong's reverse lookup feature

Ever since I first got e-Sword, when it was PC-only program back in 2001, it's always had one special feature that I haven't seen in other Bible apps, and that is the ability to look up every instance of a Greek or Hebrew word associated with a Strong's number. I find this to be one of the most helpful study tools ever, and I love it. The reason I didn't give this app 5 stars is because of the commentary. While I've never been a fan of commentaries anyway, because there's more opinion than fact, this commentary is often flawed, and full of cliches. Sometimes it's just plain inaccurate. But until another Bible app introduces the reverse lookup feature, I will continue to use e-Sword on all of my devices.

Free content available and COST for Additional Content... DISAPPOINTING

I just purchased the e-Sword app and right off the bat before I can really explore all the options I go to download the versions of the Bilbe I use currently only to find that ALL of the ones I use are for purchase and each one of them range from $15 to $25. I have been using Tecarta Bible for quite some time and thought this might be a little more in depth than my optons there and also have a more diverse user interface. However its a little discouraging to pay $10 for this app and then learn I have to pay more for the other versions I would like to have. Tecarta only charges .99 cents for additional versions to be downloaded. I like what I saw initially but unfortunately it looks like I will not be utiilizing this app and stick with Tecarta on my iPad and take a loss on the $10 I spent to download e-Sword.
