It works slowly, spends a lot of battery power, doesn’t allow copy and paste, and its current version demands to teach how to use it every time you open it. Sadly, my employer forces me to use this app.
This app works great for messaging, but the calendar/scheduling definitely needs improvement. This could be a great all in one app if they would implement some more functionality. The scheduling functions leave a lot to be desired. Please work on your scheduling section!
Since this app has been updated to a new version it keeps showing Tips "how to use the crew app and whats news” that show every time i open it.. and it’s annoying!!!!! Please Fix It!!!!
The app is cool and convenient, easy to navigate. But please fix it. It’s been weeks now that every-time I open the app (which is daily) it puts me through a tutorial on how to use it. Extremely annoying and in the way when I’m trying to type something or read a conversation.
This was a great app before the most recent update. Since the update it crashes constantly. The gray overlay & tutorial is extremely annoying and makes it less user friendly then it was before the update. I hope it gets fixed!
I would recommend this to anyone with a small business who needs better communication within their employees. I am an employee of a small business and I use this app to connect with my coworkers. It is super efficient and it makes things like shifts and cover and taking time off a LOT easier to establish. There is a cool feature where you can give your coworkers a star for good things they have done. There is a small problem I do need to complain about: When the app updates it had a handy feature where is highlights an improved feature or something else that changed during the update. When this happens, the screen dims and a circle appears around what is being shown. I am aware that this should only happen once, but after the recent update it hasn’t stopped. It has been weeks since the update has finished and this small glitch hasn’t stopped. I complained to the Crew workers and a change hasn’t happened yet about it. It is not a big glitch and I can easily ignore it, but it can be very annoying. Other than that small thing, Crew has been a great app that I will keep. I highly recommend it to anyone, and I am thankful for this app because it lets me connect with my coworkers and manager. Thanks Crew!
The app is excellent. It works very well with communicating quickly and effectively with crew. There’s an option to upload a schedule for everyone to see. You can add tasks for crew to complete. The problem I have with the app is, at times it won’t load. It’ll say it’s not connected and it won’t connect. This happens regardless of the wifi or data I’m using.
The latest update of Crew comes with non-stop tutorials that grey out the screen and highlight “how-to” interact w/ the app. Moving from one screen to another, I get a tip about how to add a reaction to a post, or where to tap to see who’s seen a post. For new users, fine, but I know how to use the app. Dev team: please add a setting to turn this annoying stuff off for those of us who aren’t new to the app. This is like old school Windows OS, constantly in your face getting in the way of me being productive.
It’s a really Good app no ads or anything like that but every single time I open the app it gives me a tutorial like I already know how to use the app our company has been using it for a year
Harborside Christian Church uses this app for scheduling events and scheduling. As a totally blind user, I find the unlabeled buttons and fields a great source of frustration.
