In 2020, the inability to search email reliably and to search and get to contacts is simply unacceptable. I use this app because our Company requires it and I’m lucky to have it, but there is much room for improvement Microsoft.
Outlook is not perfect but OK. The search function is horrible. Can never find any emails unless I go to my desktop. Not sure who created the search but whoever it is needs to search his or her soul and come up with a working model
This app is amazing I am a student and all my emails work I highly recommend this app
I use the outlook exchange server for work and I have recently on two occasions not been receiving emails. There seems to be an issue with the password data disappearing as you hit the log in button. I’ve deleted and reinstalled to no avail, but then randomly it starts working again. I cannot miss one let alone several days of emails. This is highly frustrating.
Using outlook is fine, functionality is ok, only so much you can do with mature concept like mail. My contact complaint is simply this it’s too big an app for mobile devices. It lacks the simplest ability to compress the pst files once you delete items from your mail. I find my self after purging files having to delete and add this bloated app to tame my slimmed down mailbox. Compressing partitioned datasets is a concept that is at least 40 plus years old in computing. Wake up Redmond.
I have had my outlook account for years but in the last four months, all of my incoming emails are being sent to the junk folder. The app doesn’t notify you at all so I have missed two job interviews because of this. Time to move to Gmail.
Horrible - compared to the default Apple mail & calendar apps. Will not update the system calendar so all smart watch or car integrations no longer work.
Why is it so hard to press the trash button ? It’s seems I have to press it hard or twice.
Extremely annoying that I have to keep signing into iCloud to access my iCloud email account. It is a real pain because of two-factor authentication, which requires me to make an app-specific password. One time is fine, but every day I have to do this again. I hope that the developers read this, because until they fix it, I would recommend that iCloud email users not try to use Outlook. Works fine with Office365 email, but with iCloud, not so good.
I use Outlook because I use other Microsoft applications, plus I have a subscription. But before I retired we only used Outlook. I am very pleased with the ease of use even on my iPhone.
