Wrong calories info

This app has wrong information on calories . Every time I enter or scan the product it comes up with completely different numbers . Switched back to MyFitnessPal

It’s nice but

It’s not super customizable.. I work overnights, so I sleep days.. but the fasting calendars really only work for typical sleep/wake schedules.. I’d like to be able to create my meal plan for meal prep.. not just eat what it says.. I have some things I can’t have like dairy (which they do let you take off), but also a lot of meats.. and I don’t want to spend a fortune on the plans that it does give me.. Idk.. I was really hopeful.. but I now use so many different apps for this stuff that this one kinda gets pushed aside..

Tricked into purchasing a plan

I had just downloaded the app to try it out, and as I was setting up an account to get started. I had my finger slightly resting on the iPhone home button and before I knew it I was charged for an annual subscription. I feel like the app was designed to make this very easy to accidentally do. I may have upgraded to the subscription in the future, but I hadn’t even had a chance to check out the app. I emailed about a refund but have not heard back.

There isn’t any place on this app for cancelling. Now they have charged me for another year that I do not want because I can’t find any button or sentence to CANCEL. Their “help section “ was not helpful. There is also no way to contact this app. Now as to the app itself, I agree with the other subscribers that the food database is too elemental. The other complaint is most of the recipes and foods are in ounces or grams. This is unfamiliar to those of us who use the decimal, teaspoon and cup method of measurement.

Not smart enough

It just doesn’t recognize basic foods when you type like: grilled fillet mignon, or portabella mushrooms caps. Very frustrating . MyFitnessPal worked great, until I had Garmin Watch, but it’s too bad it doesn’t sync with Apple Watch which I recently switched to.

It needs improvement

As bunch of other users already mentioned it doesn’t have a good food database. Even the common items that you’d think they should already have, it’s not available. I’ve used MyFitnessPal before and it has a great food database. The daily measurement log doesn’t seem to work properly. I’d enter the weight and I they measure ta and it’d reset to the default when I open the app next time. Even if it registers new measurements, it goes back to the default the next day! They should also include alternative ways of measuring portions. Right now it’s only Oz. What about cups, tsp, tbsp, grams, etc I should also add that I like the motivational reminders :)

Like the app.

I really like the app. However, I feel that it needs work. Whenever I enter a new food in grams, the system doesn’t keep that information and goes back to the “1 oz” standard. I wish it would keep the items as entered.

Bad deal for me...

The app is very hard to use and not up to Apple standards for ease of use. Don’t cook much at home so I need to put calorie count off menus into the app...it can’t be done apparently. Just had a 370 calorie count salad and I can’t get it into the system...a waste of my money...

Not easy to customize

Fitness pal offers most of the pro options on this app for free. The meal plan is not customizable so you have to use all of their recipes. It’s also more cumbersome to add your own foods to the database. Overall I wouldn’t have bought the pro version because it doesn’t add a lot. I will most likely go back to the free version of My Fitness Pal.
