Heavy Censorship

Their censorship on articles is ridiculous. Even if there’s absolutely nothing wrong with a post or reply something triggers it and you can’t post. For example I just saw a post where someone was alluding to wanting to see the person in the article (nakey) and I just wanted to post the word Gross as a reply. They were allowed to post that but I couldn’t post a one word reply. Pretty fked up Microsoft.

Biased

All of the news content was heavily biased and from unreliable sources calling themselves news. There are also so many ads that it’s impossible to tell them apart from the news stories.

Still haven’t gotten my cash back

I sent a ticket to microsoft last month (February) and all I received what is an automated email saying that someone would get back to me. I still have not had a response from anyone. I had noticed I had $20 cash for that I had forgotten about from signing up with something. And that it was ready to be cashed out since September 2022. So I got excited and went ahead and type in my email address to cash it out to my PayPal. However, I did not realise that I had typed in my email address incorrectly by missing one letter. It says that my cashback was sent. However, I did not ever receive it. I need someone to fix this asap! This is so road that I should wait one whole month for someone to respond back to me. Kittie

Glitchy

This app often freezes or will not open articles. Sometimes when I am using it my phone literally overheats.

Not my cup of tea

I tried it and uninstalled it. I was looking for news but found far too many opinion pieces vs news. People take opinions as news and that hurts our society. I use my mind and understand these are perspectives and it is healthy to understand them, but I was looking for facts, not opinions. It is well designed and works well for those that want that type of content.

Stop use start app banned Xbox risk account and bing account and

The reason and banned my bing and also my Xbox and put my number and address correct and also make other accounts without that and still get banned and don’t give me any reason and that 1 star review like that and good bye

Full of Click Bait

This “news” app is mostly full of click bait articles that are very light on actual news content. I ended up uninstalling it. Waste of time.

Does not function

Sad, sad attempt at an app. Just terrible. Crashes incessantly, cumbersome to navigate, really cluttered interface. I expect a lot more and better from Microsoft.

Pinned section not working correctly

Pinning and unpinning items doesn’t change what’s pinned at the top. Also, you should allow moving pinned items around.
