Have I known of the existence of this app few years earlier. I am pretty I would have enough money to buy my house already. It’s great, very informative, explains the pros and cons. Making you feel comfortable investing your hard earned money. That’s definitely an application that was supposed to be created. Thanks the Robinhood team. And thanks to the friend that referred it to me. J.A.
I’ve only been doing it for a few days but it’s been fun and easy!
Who can I talk to about the app asap
Good job guys! I was a little worried when my transfer took 10 days but it’s here now and I’m in the game!!! So much more interesting then gold lol
I am very new to stocks and trading. I love this app. I am learning things and it is EASY.
It has been a couple months now and my account still isn’t active. I’ve sent all the paperwork I needed to send but it shows it’s still under review. I’ve also emailed and tried to connect with customer service but I get no solid response and no issues are fixed. I also tried to delete my account but wasn’t able to either.
Long review for context, summary they hold money hostage while customer service takes forever to get back with you. I started a support ticket when the automatic bank link attempted to link my account with a credit card (wife’s) which is only linked to the bank account for bill payment, and there was no option to link my checking account. Mind you I was logging into my checking account through the bank link, not the credit card. So I proceeded to link my checking account manually, verify, and set up deposits. Suddenly my account was restricted and only able to close positions. Had a few emails with support and they wanted my to verify identity with my ID , checking account statement and credit card statement. Since I’m not listed on the credit card I refuse to give them the statement as it won’t verify my identity and the account is not linked to my Robinhood (I removed it once I saw it was the credit card and before I started the support ticket). Now 1 week later I haven’t heard back on why my wife’s credit card statement is needed to unlock my account or how it would help them identify me if I’m not on the statement and my account is still locked... currently closing all positions and trying to get money out and start investing with another brokerage with no luck.
I have enjoyed using TD Ameritrade, E-Trade, Charles Schwab, Coinbase Pro, Crypto.com and other trading platforms and their respective applications. Robinhood is easily the worst I have used. RH’s customer service is nonexistent as I was literally never able to complete setting up my account after months of reaching out for help from them. Aside from that glaring problem, RH leadership is simply untrustworthy.
By far the most simple trade platform I have used to trade stocks with out all the extra unnecessary info/options that is not necessary.
No minimum purchase for acquiring stocks, cuts out the old fashion middle man stock broker
