Get the current Zulu/GMT/UTC Time, anytime, in any time zone. Super quick and convenient tool for pilots, military personnel, sailors, etc. Includes iPhone app, Today Screen widget and Apple Watch app with complications showing the Zulu hour right on the watch face. iPhone and Watch apps now also show seconds and the current GMT date. TAF style UTC date format is available as an option. When on the phone with Flight Service on a trip through Canada, just swipe right to bring up the Today screen and find the current Zulu Time. If you have an Apple Watch, it's even easier! Just glance at your watch with the included complications. Leaving in 3.5 hours? Just slide the time slider on either the iPhone or Apple Watch forward to get the Zulu time for 3.5 hours from now. No need to do math in your head! Zulu Time automatically adjusts for daylight savings and your local time zone. Enable the Today extension by going to your Today screen (swipe right from home screen), then choosing "Edit" and then adding Zulu Time.
It works well and simple to use. Been using this app for a long time now. I encouraged all my students to get this app.
Working fine, but when it’s sitting on my homescreen, I wish it would display the Zulu Time instead of the app logo.. I’m a pilot and would love to just pull out my phone, look at my homescreen and see Zulu Time without opening an app.
Finally the update for the watch it needed
Looks like it had some issues on an older version of iOS but it works perfectly on iOS 11 now that I could upgrade. Great app with a very handy widget.
This is the worst thing ever 🤬
Stupid app. Why would I want to know what Zulu time it will be in 30 minutes? Why would I want to know what time it will be in an hour, two hours, three hours? All this function serves to do is set the time incorrectly and not notice it. All I care about is the Zulu time display and the local time. It does not display local time either. Just a stupid slider that makes the time incorrect no matter what time you want to see.
Purchased this not realizing that on Apple Watch you’d have to open this app itself to get Zulu time. Was hoping it had a complication so I could have my local time in 12-hour format and then this app running a complication on the same screen in 24-hour Zulu time. Please add and you’ll get five stars from me (and likely others too)!!
I like he simplicity of this. And while it shows up on my phone under Complications for my watch, when I try to choose it as a complication for a watch face - both large and small complications - it doesn’t show up in the list of available complications. So something wonky going on with it.
... I expected its complication to have the Zulu time in it, so that I could look at my watch see the current time, and the Zulu time. Instead, it just has a big letter Z as its complication.
Just would prefer the widget show seconds as well!! Please update if available! Would make it so much more worth it!! Thanks!
