Comes with a side of Spam; DO NOT INSTALL
Immediately after I made my first Musicnotes purchase and installed the app, my email was clogged with gmail-originating spam. It’s relentless and even with spam filters, I can’t make it stop. The app works well. But the barrage of spam is unforgivable.
All my purchases disappeared from my account
Over several years I’ve enjoyed purchasing different arrangements from this service. Recently, all those purchases have disappeared from my account. Beware if you want long-term access to the digital music you buy, you won’t have it here.

Musicnotes SLAYS
This app is amazing i love it so much! The music sheets, yes, they ARE a little pricey but i understand that you have to but the rights and stuff. I like that you can learn the first page before buying a song also because it shows you if it will be hard to do or not. I think you should add a feature tho so you can put letters in the notes with a toggle button thingy so even if you cant read the sheet music you can still play the songs you love. Thanks musicnotes! ps im not a bot this is a great app and i recommend it to anyone who likes piano singing or guitar. -Love, Anonymous Pianist
Great but major bug
So I love music notes it has all the popular sheet music that I get to play but there’s one major issue we bought the yearly pro credit package and it gave me them for around 8 months then it just stopped its been like that for around seven months I would really like the pro credits I bought but didn’t get Please give me the pro credits and keep it that way Ps why isn’t every song playable it’s really annoying when you can’t hear the song and how it’s played with this version of it

Love the app Only nitpick I suggest is enabling background playback while phone/device is locked/using another app
usually okay
this app normally works well, it’s where i get most of my music. but the printing is untrustworthy and the settings aren’t easy to navigate and don’t have all the functions they probably should have, specifically when it comes to printing. i just had an issue with that and then the music notes server timed out so needless to say i am slightly frustrated.
Excellent and works with Pageflip!,
I have spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on $39+ music books to use 2-3 songs and have a closet of books stored. So nice to sample and have key choices before buying into a cloud file! Helpful tip: I was so pleased that this program works with my new Pageflip Butterfly pedal, turns pages with a foot tap!!!
New version of the Musicnotes app has many limitations
Old version of the Musicnotes app was substantially better. This newer app doesn't allow full view, doesn't allow larger fonts, didn't keep transposed music in the correct, arrow at the top left corner to get back to my library works only half the time and has multiple bugs. Can I still use the old app? That one was far superior from a user interface standpoint.
Lack of communication
The very first item I purchased with my Pro account on Musicnotes had errors in the music. I have been unable to have any meaningful interaction with the company through their help/support about this. Their initial email from 3 weeks ago asking for details has not been followed up. The day after I posted this I finally received a helpful reply from MusicNotes customer service, who had corrected the errors in the music and who explained to me how to download the corrected version.
