Translate and learn millions of words and expressions and express yourself as if you were a native speaker. Reverso is the best tool for those who seek quality translation, looking to master a foreign language: reading, writing or speaking, and it's free. Students, teachers, business professionals or others, whether beginners or advanced, use Reverso to learn new words or expressions, and eliminate the risk of being mistaken. It provides you instant translations of the selected text when reading content on your browser, on Safari or any other app. Reverso Context is based on data gathered from millions of real-life texts (official documents, movie subtitles, product descriptions) in both languages. Theses texts are processed with powerful "big data" algorithms and machine learning to provide you the best results. What do we mean by context? The search results (translation) of a specific word or expression are weaved within real-life sentences, so you will be sure to understand and learn exactly how the word can be used, and make no embarrassing mistakes. Just type or say the word or expression you wish to translate and the results will appear instantly: relevant translations, presented with examples of how words are used in sentences. The app offers flashcards and quizzes based on your search history and favorites to help you memorize them and to improve your language skills. Unlike standard learning tools, it focuses on words and expressions that you really need and want to learn. The bits and bytes: * Instantly translate selected text when reading content on your browser, iBook or any other app, with no need to exit the app you are using. Click on the familiar "Share" option and select the Reverso option. * Translation in 14 languages: Spanish, French, Italian, English, Portuguese, German, Polish, Dutch, Arabic, Russian, Romanian, Japanese, Turkish and Hebrew, and we are working on more. * Advanced features include pronunciation, history, phrasebook of your favorites and more. * Create vocabulary lists based on your personal selection of examples and translations. Lists remain available even when you’re offline. * Enjoy natural pronunciation of complete example sentences. * One click to get translations, frequency details, and conjugation when applicable. * Search history, also available offline. * Suggestions: words and expressions will be suggested to you as you type. * Share your findings via email or social media. It Freezes on an Ad For Eating Disorders

I like the app except when when it freezes on advertisement for Easting Disorders. What’s that about? I have to restart my phone to get rid of it. Yes my software is up to date. This is freezing is counterproductive.

Awesome, seriously.

This app is awesome. It translates what you type in, and also gives you lots of examples with the keyword of your choice. I use another app for English-Arabic, but this one gives more advanced-level examples and what’s even better is, it does all this with the minimal ad. I love it :) thanks developers!

Don’t look elsewhere

I’ve been using Reverso for years. Just did a comparison with other translator apps. All a complete joke and way behind Reverso in every way. Easy to use, no annoyances like begging for money or sending Notifications, recognizes languages (yes, some do not, other struggle with mainstream languages. For circa 30 years I spend anywhere from 2 to 4 months each year in foreign countries. Reverso works and works very well.

The translation app I always wanted

It goes further than translation. You have access to real colloquial phrases that the app searches for on the Internet. You see the phrases in the native context as found online. And with conjugation tables to boot. Love this app.

You know what? Please, receive the one star. I pay for this app and it now just crashes on every start. That’s not all, clean reinstall doesn’t help P.S. Loading without internet helped, give one more star

Best translation app

This app gives translations with multiple examples, and more quickly than other apps. If the word is misspelled there are suggestions so one can still find the definition. In the examples the translated word is highlighted which lets one scan the examples more quickly. I always use this app for finding out the meanings of words I don’t know when I read in Italian because I’ve found that it’s the best, most helpful app to translate words and phrases.

Worth the money if you’re a student of language and translation

Google Translate is great for common language. However, I use Reverso for translating academia and political articles. It provides short, authentic examples and equivocal translations that capture the meaning of the foreign language. It hasn’t failed me yet.

Use it for French

I’m learning French and this app is so helpful. I use it almost daily to help me with the finer points of my translations, and I love the different examples and full sentences it gives me to learn even more. It’s a dictionary on steroids! Thank you!
