Autopasting from the clipboard means you're always looking at our data. Just opened the app to see a Spanish translation and saw it automatically pasted. What happens when there's a password or private data in our clipboard? You've just sent it to your (likely poor security) servers. So where's our data being processed at?
Really wanted to like the watch app, but it will only let you translate from English to another language and not vice versa. Disappointed.
I didn’t put the five stars for two reasons: 1. The examples of word usage are so strange, a lot of times are quite negative or even creepy. 2. My annual subscription stoped working on the 11th month. It still shows that I have payed subscription until November 1st, but my app is already full of advertisements in October. Please fix the issue. Thank you.
Very slow. Also, the application tries to teach moral principles, and blocks translation that consider to be not appropriate.
After updating, whenever I open this app, I get a pop-up that says “Reverso Context pasted from...” The app is reading our clipboards for some unexplained reason. If you’ve ever copied a username, a password, an address, a credit card number, a phone number, or any other private message or data of a personal nature before opening Reverso, you should be concerned that they have read it and possibly stored or sold that data. I hate to leave negative reviews, but when an app constantly violates the privacy of its users for no apparent reason, it does not deserve praise.
It appears that you removed support for non English keyboards? At least, I’m not longer able to change the keyboard within the app on my device. That’s a massive drawback to those translating from Arabic and Russian. Please restore that functionality. I would give you a hundred stars if it weren’t for that; this app is really a pleasure to use, and it offers insights on each translation that I think no other service can provide. Seriously, learn to use this app. It’s one of the best translators I’ve ever used—and certainly the best translator with this degree of versatility. EDIT: This was an iOS issue, as the developer has very helpfully informed me. 5 stars. You need this app.
The best way to learn French quicker than normal. Has everything you need and the many examples of the word used is invaluable. Wish the tutorials were better. Still trying to figure out how the “learn” function works. But otherwise, the app is the best out there - and I’ve tried many of them.
Please add Korean!
It works well enough as a support tool alongside my French course...thanks
This is a really good app if you need to translate something. It helps so much with school work or homework. I would recommend this app. It is so wonderful and I always use it. 😁 so glad I found it! So far I have not had any problems with the app, so for me it works great 👍. Thank you so much for this wonderful app and I hope you have a wonderful day! 😁😁😁😁
