Few Bugs (Horrible Shuffle, Deleting and Adding Issues.
This app has bugs it needs to fix, tracks in playlists are difficult to delete sometimes and the app won’t allow you delete at all sometimes. This is the same adding tracks, it will sometimes display in a pink bar, cannot add track, or cannot delete track. The shuffling in Tidal is Horrible it doesn’t really shuffle every-time. It shuffles once and sticks to that similar sequence. Too predictable. This app is downgrading on every update they literally took crossfading feature away and I find that a garbage move 🚮
“Downloaded” doesn’t always work
The sound is really great here, but the app is kind of buggy. My main complaint is that my downloaded playlists don’t stay downloaded. I don’t want to use data every time I listen to a playlist and I shouldn’t have to. But it never remembers that I’ve downloaded a playlist. Currently, the playlists all say “downloading” but the songs being downloaded aren’t in a download queue that I can find… I’m paying more for this to compensate artists, but I’m not getting what I need from it…
Bad customer service
This people refused to issue a refund because my trial period ended and I cancelled the service 5 hours after they charged me (they charged overnight). I had no even 30 minutes of listening time since I requested the trial period (2 months ago), so I basically didn’t use the service. They bluntly refused to issue a refund for something that I haven’t used and will not use.

Good, but Excessive Issues
I love the student plan for the best of the best audio quality. There is no comparison with Tidal to any other streaming sound quality. I love that Tidal actually pays artists. But I cannot stand some issues Tidal has. Why is it that if I listen to an album more than others, some songs (specifically the songs that I have liked and put into “My Collection) from that album just disappear? The only way they come back is if I delete and reinstall the app. I do not want to keep doing this every time songs from an album disappear, because this tends to happen A LOT. Another big issue is how demanding the internet connection is. I understand that the higher qualities (Hifi, Master, Atmos) require more data to load, but I do not believe a song should buffer longer than a video on Youtube. Sometimes, if you lose connection for a second, there is a chance that everything stops loading. Completely. I understand that this is not a widely funded app, but these issues are very frustrating. I am hoping that these are resolved soon, because I do love Tidal, but these issues are grounds to take my money elsewhere.
New update deleted all downloads
Very unhappy about this tidal. as per usual i wake up to have my tidal logged out and all of my playlists deleted. i’m seriously considering going to a competitor because having to redownload hundreds of songs is a bit much.
Wi-Fi problems
When I am disconnected tk Wi-Fi my downloaded playlists will not work, they will say not content available. What is the point of downloaded then? It randomly logged me out as well.

i love the quality on this app. master and dolby atoms is my favorite but this app has lower volume than spotify or apple music. but overall it’s good
