I’ve had the app for an hour and love the sound quality but I've noticed a couple things so far. I can’t rewind or fast forward with the arrows like with Apple Music and Spotify. I have to drag the slider. That means I can’t rewind or fast forward with the buttons on my headphones. That’s a big thing for me. Also please add master quality Miley Cyrus’ music! Sound quality is great
I love this app. I just wish it had lyrics.
I feel like music Platforms are becoming more & more like social platforms. I feel like tidal does a great job of making me feel like I’m getting more than just a music app. An app to just give my money to. I find myself finding new things inside tidal daily. I love this platform. I feel like I’m finally getting my money’s worth 🖤🏁🤞🏿
You know that feature that mutes the audio from other apps whenever i switch to Tidal’s app? Turn that off please it’s annoying. I decide when to use your app remember that.
The automatic stations created by their app are always on point!
I use this app almost everyday and I’m a BTS fan myself and one of the members released a new mix tape, and I wanted to add it to my playlist but when I searched up the album (D-2) it would show up other artists. Tidal does have his other mixq a
After listening for a few weeks there’s no denying that Tidal has the best music quality of any streaming music service. However, the issues with the app I am about to mention, are what’s preventing me from making a complete switch to Tidal. My three stars are about the app and it’s compatibility with Apple CarPlay than music quality. Let’s get to it. You’ll plug in your iPhone to the car using your lightning cable. The Tidal menu pops up on your car screen. You’ll select a playlist and the song will not load. It’ll tell you something like “these songs aren’t available right now” or something like that. This is despite the songs being downloaded on my phone. Then you click the playlist again and bam! The song magically appear. Then you can’t set the playlist to start shuffling. Rather than allow you to set a playlist to shuffle right off the bat, you’ll have to select what playlist you want. You’ll have to open the playlist (if it opens it at all), then select a song. After that you can set it to shuffle. Setting a playlist to shuffle should be this tedious. I’m not sure why the option isn’t available from the get go. My other complaint is the inability to rearrange playlists. You only get the option to rearrange playlist by alphabetical order or order of creation. This is nonsense! I can’t begin to understand why the option to arrange your playlist the way you like them is not available. Lastly, I am surprised that given the expansive music library Tidal has, Metallica isn’t available. In addition, discovering new music is not as friendly as with other streaming apps, but that’s not that big of a deal as the other issues. I love Tidal’s music quality and definitely enjoy it but the issues I mentioned are hard to overlook.
When connecting CarPlay, sometimes app won’t startup. I have to close the app twice or reconnect CarPlay. When selecting menus and using the back button that are located in top corners of the app they are unresponsive or require a harder tap. The app is slow and sluggish at times during CarPlay
Invaluable to anybody who wants to stream lossless.
A lot of updates abd still no equalizer, come on TIDAL!
