Cancellation

1
I’m only giving it a one star because customer service was so rude while trying to cancel this app. Be aware if you sign up for the NYTimes you might also be signing for NYTimes cooking. It will not show up in your subscriptions in your Apple subscription app. Terrible communication.

The New York Times cooking app is fresh and inspiring. I check it out every day for the recipe of the day. It presents things beautifully and helps me think of new ideas.

Worth the subscription price

Thank you so much for this cooking app. I’m gifting to my Mom too. I use these recipes above all others! Keep up the delicious & diverse recipes.

Excellent Resource

5
I LOVE this app and use it all the time. I often use it when I go to the market and see an intriguing ingredient I want to experiment with. Fantastic to find things at your fingertips. I often make variations on recipes and can add personal, private notes. Other users’ notes are very informative and offer great ideas. I also appreciate that when I am using it on my iPad in the kitchen it does not timeout so it’s always there at a glance to refer to while I am cooking. Thank you for having such a wonderful app.

Cuisine changing

5
NYT recipes have completely upgraded my home cuisine. I religiously read the reader comments, which are so valuable. I no longer use any of me cookbooks (sorry, Mark Bittman!)

Brings out the chef in all of us.

5
This app teaches you how to cook! Well made. Love the videos when available. Stays on meaning the screen won’t sleep while you’re cooking with greasy or flour laden hands.

Saving clutter

5
Convenient to cook from app in kitchen. Less clutter from recipes cut out. Grease stains on recipe easily, less paper recipe clutter. Cathy likes to cook

Eggplant clouds

5
This non traditional Eggplant parm is the best I have ever eaten. The Eggplant is light and flavorful. Not overwhelmed with tons of ricotta. Worth every minute it takes to make it which I have done many times!
