Deleted my flight ticket

Several weeks ago I purchased a round-trip flight for my holiday. While I was on holiday and looking on hopper for my booking to return home, I realized that my booking no longer existed on hopper. There was no trace or or order of my flight or my booking. I reached out to hopper through their chat several times with no response. I had to go through a mess of talking to the separate airlines with my connecting flights so I could get a hold of my bookings. I’m so disappointed and I will never use Hopper again. It is so unprofessional and disrespectful as a loyal customer that I once was.

Never got my refund.

Almost a year hence from my last scheduled and PAID trip, I have not received a call, email or any correspondence to settle my Covid-related cancellation. I’ve reached to the higher administrative staff as well as the President and crickets... Customer service seems nonexistent beyond boiler plate emails.

We bought tickets for our honeymoon that was supposed to happen in April 2020. COVID happened and we had to postpone our wedding and our honeymoon. We rescheduled for October 2020 thinking it would all be over. Little did we know it would not be and we would be prevented from traveling to Paris as planned. At the time we rescheduled, British Airways rebooked our flights for October 2020 no problem but they were unwilling to help us a second time. They said we had to go through Hopper. The information in the app said we had to click something in the app to cancel our flights and someone would get back to us about a refund. Since British Airways had switched out flights the first time though, that option was not available in the app. No matter what I tried, I could not get in contact with Hopper. So, that’s a $1,200.00 lesson I learned, I guess. Never buy through the app because they’re not there for you if something goes wrong. Confirmation code: QPPWXY

Horrible customer service

I used hopper for the first time in 2020, however the flights we booked all got canceled because of the pandemic. Because we booked through hopper, we were given hopper credit instead of credit through the airline. We started trying to rebook those flights using the hopper credit 12 days ago. The app won’t let you just check out as normal and use your credit towards your purchase. You have to submit a request to use the hopper credit. It has been $12 days and I have not heard any response from the hopper team. It seems ridiculous that there is no email address or customer support phone number. The only way to get help is to submit a request which they do not reply to. I’ve also been reading through multiple other reviews of people expressing the same concerns and the responses are clearly automated. The responses also suggest to get in touch with the support team through the app which is so ironic because that’s the specific thing that all these people are complaining doesn’t actually work. At this point I’m just hoping hopper refunds me my $515.60 so I can take my business elsewhere.

Great for tracking prices but DO NOT PURCHASE A FLIGHT WITHIN THE APP

Whatever you do, track prices of things all you want with this app, it’s great for that. DO NOT GIVE HOPPER A DIME. They do not have any customer service! A while ago I booked a flight with them and paid a fee so I could change the date of the flight if I wanted to. I ended up wanting to change the date and was not able to do so. I was not able to get in touch with hopper at all, there’s no phone number to call and they NEVER respond to your messages asking for help. So whatever you do, don’t give them any money!!!!!!! This company will ignore your concerns

This app is so frustrating. The customer service is so bottlenecked that there’s no way to reach out to them outside of the app. I received credit for a flight canceled at the onset of COVID and tried to use it a few weeks back, but it was visible but not accessible through the airline so I had to reach back out to Hopper, and they didn’t respond at all after multiple emails. They still haven’t reached out to me in any form, and I have been unable to access and use my $400 flight credit, which has pretty much disappeared into the void. They also stopped resolving complaints sent in through the Better Business Bureau since last year: Hopper does not care about their customers. You’d be better off using the app to find flights and then booking them through different channels. Trip A-W7VJ7Q but please just respond to customers in the first place.

If I could give less than one star I would

I’ve been a long time user of hopper. Last year a booked a domestic flight for 3 persons before the pandemic hit. My flight was cancelled and about 2 weeks later I was notified by the airline that my refund has been sent to Hopper. Well, it’s almost been a year and I haven’t received my refund from Hopper. Though I am disappointed that Hopper has not issued the refund that has been paid to them, I am more disgusted that they do not have a customer service department that can handle the issue. I have written numerous customer service emails over the past year and have yet to receive a reply. Don’t waste your time. You can find cheaper flights and no savings is worth the risk you run with this horrible company. Update to add confirmation: A-JMWQSQ

Do NOT use Hopper and the refundable ticket plan is a joke!

This has been a total nightmare! I purchased round trip tickets to Paris and even spent extra on buying the refundable ticket plan through Hopper (this was before the pandemic). This trip was to celebrate our 10th anniversary in October 2020. We had to cancel the trip not only because we are in a pandemic but because my Mother was extremely sick. She passed away during this time. The last thing I want to be dealing with is the horrible service I’ve received from Hopper to get my tickets refunded. I requested a refund multiple times. Currently, the status says available credit which is not what I asked for. I specifically requested a refund because we cannot use the credits within the allotted time period. We are still in a pandemic and the credits expired at end of February. I cannot believe I still have to deal with this. I use to be a walking advertisement for Hopper because before this experience I loved the app. Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed by the customer service or lack of customer service I’ve received. Edit: Here is the Hopper confirmation UPLHUR I’m requesting a full refund which I’ve spend extra on the refundable ticket plan for this ticket.

I froze a ticket, upon deciding to continue with my purchase it sold out!!! Then ten min after they took $2000 out of my account along with me $144 freeze!!! This is absurd! I DO NOT PLAY WITH MY MONEY especially during a darn pandemic! Filing a complaint with the BBB!!! If anyone needs a class action lawsuit email me gewlzbygeena @gmail.com.
