The recipes are incredible! The shopping list is so easy to use. And the ability to choose how to display the shopping list by ingredient location in the store or by recipe saves so much time. The variety of recipes definitely appeal to everyone. Only a couple made with sugar but the vast majority were FOK perfection
Love the app, it’s easy to personalize and usually has misc things I am looking for. I love that there is a diversity and the option of a grocery list Josephine
The recipes don’t have user ratings, so every time you try a new one it’s a complete gamble. For someone who is completely new to this plant based diet thing and has a limited time to cook, ratings would be helpful. The recipes should pre-screened as well. Spent 2 hours preparing the Indian-Spiced Cauliflower and Potato Casserole and the result was a concoction I wouldn’t feed to my dog let alone friends or family. The flavor profile was terrible, even after adding plenty of salt. I want to give this whole plant based eating thing a fair shake, but after eating a few spoonfuls of the Indian Casserole, a few less years on earth aren’t looking so bad.
So far- the recipes have been simple and easy- and they taste good! Hubby’s blood pressure has gone way down eating this way too.
They have a very limited selection of recipes for this app compared to (free) alternatives. The layout is great, and the consistency of the way recipes are presented is great. Unfortunately, the very limited nature of the selection is a deal breaker, and some of the already limited options require pressure cookers or other specific cooking equipment not all kitchens will have available. Additionally, no meats section? What’s up with that? (The app has a number of sections; soups, sides, pastas, etc)
This app is great especially for those beginning a whole plant lifestyle. I love the shopping list feature.
Recipes are easy to follow and tasty.
I love how you can click on the recipe step in order to see the ingredient amounts! Have made three recipes from it so far and loved them all!
I wish I could adjust the serving sizes. I can’t make a salad that serves 8 for just me. That’s too many leftovers.
Since IOS 13, something is broken. The search function has issues and eventually locks up or prevents scrolling.
