The app is great, get it. However, lately the app has told me I don’t have a subscription when I’m paying for it via Apple. It then tells me to subscribe via The Economist (for more money than I’m paying on Apple). I have the receipts to prove it. This is a straight up scam and should be reported as such. The Economist should honestly be ashamed of themselves.
A pleasure to use. Perfect for people like me who can’t deal with the nonstop (and almost all US-related) media/political noise, but are still inherently interested in the world. Not a surprise, then, that with expert reporting and analysis from TE’s superb writing team, the app is as nicely designed and enjoyable to use as its content is to read.
The best way to consume global news
Bring back the exchange rates and markets!! Why did you get rid of that?! Also since now it comes out on european midday, i only have time to read it at night. Bring back the morning edition!!
What a great way to get a snapshot of what’s going on in the world today from a top publication like the Economist.
Concise presentation of the important events of the day. I like that they cover events from the entire world, though they do focus more on Europe and USA
Espresso, aptly named, is the quick, everyday fix of news and analysis that distills all Economist content down into quick bites. This is quality, essential stuff. You need it!
Good read. I like the quote of the day and reading the winners of the barista quiz.
Easy to digest with the morning cup.
