The app shows that they have many British TV series and movies. They do have many to choose from but only a few episodes of each series! We were very disappointed! We canceled this pretty quickly after realizing that this was the case. You can watch many British TV shows on Amazon Prime or Netflix and view the entire episodes that are up-to-date. If a new series is still showing on TV of course you would have to wait until the new series came on just like you have to wait on Amazon prime and Netflix. That is easy understandable, but not being able to watch a complete series is ridiculous! Do not order this streaming TV station!
But, you can save $2.00 a month if you have Amazon Prime...
I have tried twice now to access this site and each time I am told I have to go through lTunes and there no instructions on how to accomplish this. The app has been deleted, and it's a shame because I loved the site for the week I had as a free trial. I tried again, thinking bugs might have been worked out. No such luck. I cannot access them to change password. I cannot get through on FaceBook messenger. It does not recognize the password I used before but when I tried I just got An error has occurred. Please try again later For 3 days I have gotten this message. Under no circumstances do I recommend the app. Avoid it if you can.
Have older TV with. Use adapter cable and this works just fine.
Can’t play a subscription I’ve paid for. No help in sight. Is it possible to give less than one star.
I am using an iPad Pro and am not able to view programming on the full screen. It is very distracting to have the clutter above and below the shows. Also, where is the volume control? I so appreciate the programming you offer, however, would like to see complete seasons, i.e., Vera and Doc Martin. Please continue to make improvements to make viewing easier and consistent.
While their BBC content is very good, the folks who are delivering this service are really inept. More often than not, the service is not available because they won’t recognize their sign in procedures. And customer service contacts are not readily available. A shame.
I don’t understand why people don’t like this app. I love it. I watch it all the time. I’ve no problems with it going right into the next episode. I find it easy to use and navigate. I love the shows and I love the app!
Cancel ASAP. Do not cancel thru Apple. Acorn will lie to you and say you must do it thru Apple. THAT IS A LIE. Call the number below. Keep calling. They will try lying and say it isn’t the correct number. NONE OF THE PHONE NUMBERS ONLINE ARE CORRECT. Call 844-734-8466. After speaking to multiple reps (difficult since it cuts you off), I learn Apple products often won’t work. They said it had JUST happened but their own website had a different story. Did they offer me a prorated refund for no service? No of course not. Run away. Something is wrong at this company. If you complain on FB and write to the CEO in London, they will actually fall all over themselves. Too little too late. Oh and if you read other reviews like Sitejabber, they are slammed there with the same issues.
Acorn TV took 5 days to respond to me. Unacceptably slow. They have no toll free number that I could locate nor did they provide one when I asked. Acorn TV Customer service would rate a zero if it were an option. I want my money back
