All was well until I purchased the satellite added content, and found that it doesn’t work — though the app said it was installed.
I love this app and I use it all the time. I fell in love with space watching all the moon landings and shuttle launches. I paid so I can see crew dragon and the iss together. But it doesn’t show them together and I am not even sure which one to look at. NASA and Elon Musk need to be more creative with naming so we can tell the ships/ satellites. Anyway this is a great app and I have requimended it to many people.
On new iPad Air. Says it needs to be in full screen mode.
This app is good, but I wish there was a way to use the camera for augmented reality
My daughters use it every clear night!
It’d be nice to have buttons on the view screen to turn constellation lines and labels on and off without having to go into the settings menu every time but other than that this is a great app for learning and identifying constellations, stars and planets.
One of the best things about 2020 for me turned out to be looking at the stars with my iPad at night. There are a lot of good apps for that and so I don’t want to diminish others by saying this one is fantastic. It just happens to have a lot of fun features and the pictures of the constellations together with the music is pretty relaxing. I have learned a lot about the stars using this app. I gravitated toward paying because the ads in other apps are a little intrusive sometimes. A couple of bucks up front to be able to just focus on the sky was well worth it for me. One big plus about this app too is that it gives you a list of things to look out for each month, so you don’t have to search online for info about what’s upcoming in the night sky and be subjected to all the kooky websites you inevitably find whenever you try to find meaningful information on the internet.
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But two tiny space probes MISSING
The app doesn’t know which direction is north (or any of the others). I didn’t have this problem on my old version of the app, on my old iPad. 😠
