But you can’t make the size of the text any bigger and when I tried to submit feedback, it told me the email the app generates, could not be found. Super frustrating.
I have to say I agree with everyone stating the app’s overall usability is lackluster. It can definitely be glitchy; there’s some UX design that doesn’t make sense to me and interferes with overall flow. I also REALLY wish they’d integrate landscape orientation compatibility. It’s a bit annoying for me personally to only be offered one orientation. All that said, I will continue to use this app because the content of the devotionals is lovely. I really appreciate the aesthetics and artistic thought put into it, and I especially appreciate the theologically sound wisdom that’s offered through each devotional as it’s comprehensible and biblically sound. It’s also really sweet to have a community of other women working through it with you. I think SRT has something wonderful going, it’s just a matter of sorting out the logistical things to make the app use smoother!
I love the content of this app but for one the daily readings are LONG. If you are short on time it’s frustrating. Also you can’t change the background color/text color or the size of the font. It can be incredibly hard to read depending on the lighting.
Awe man.. I was really hoping this app would’ve improved since the top reviews but it’s still not good. -You cant choose highlight colors it only highlights in bright blue. - You can adjust text or colors ( at least i didn’t see that option) - You cant select a word without selecting the entire verse so defining words in the app is a no go. - Its a vertical scroll so you can’t scroll up or down without it highlighting every verse. - It has a limited library of bible translations to choose from This app kind of feels like an online store which just happens to have a copy of the bible you can read. I wish they would work on it because this could be a banger for us christian girls who love aesthetics.
I enjoy She Reads Truth and my favorite feature is linking scripture to my notes. One update I would like to see is the notes being sorted most recent to oldest. Right now I see the oldest notes at the top. Otherwise, it’s great app and community!
I love the function of the app. However, it prompts you to read the daily reading but you have to pay $1.99 to do so. I want to grow closer to God and learn these things. It just feels wrong to have to pay for it.
I have used this app since it came out, and more regularly since I became a regular subscriber a couple years ago. It’s easy to use and it has all the scriptures for the plan in one place. I do like the format of scripture, then thoughts about the passage then community. There are some old plans I wish were still available, but I have enjoyed this much!
I don’t know why but I’m still using this as my Bible app. I like that you can easily switch translations. I don’t like a myriad of other things. It doesn’t save my place. And it’s hard to flip from one book/chapter to another and then back to where you were.
Do not get the subscription box, they charge my account and won’t let me cancel
The app definitely needs work. It hardly works and is very slow. Nothing is loading. It’s also very hard to read with all the bright, white screens. I was really looking forward to using this app as a companion to the She Reads Truth bible but it’s not allowing me to do so.
