This app is really nice, but there’s one problem that I’m having. Every time I’m doing a workout everything’s fine until someone calls, the workout just closes and doesn’t save. It just brings me back to the build workout and have to start all over again. Or when I exit the app by accident it doesn’t save the workout, which can get really annoying. But overall, this app is very helpful for me.
Initial download and launch of the app was good. I chose the 5-day trial to see how effective the workouts and training would be. I created a workout every day of the free trial. On the plus side: the interface is effective and easy to use (creating workouts is intuitive), the drills and training demonstrations are mostly effective (more on this later), and the workouts offer great intensity that mimics a game-like experience. As a former bench-warmer through high-school, I would say that regular use of this app would improve anyone’s skills. On the negative side, some of the demonstration videos need to be a little longer to show multiple iterations of a drill or exercise, mostly with regard to the ball-handling exercises. For example, one drill is to perform the 4-combo dribble for one minute, but the demonstration video only shows the coach perform one 4-combo dribble and this video just repeats on a loop rather than showing the coach transition from one 4-combo dribble into another and another. You can make up your own transitions, but the demonstration video could also be 5-7 seconds longer showing how the coach transitions and performs the drill over multiple iterations. Most annoying though, is that any interruption on your device (call, text, low battery warning etc) takes you out of the app and out of your workout, and you have no way to get back to that workout. So if you’ve completed 12 minutes of a 30 minute workout, and someone calls you, you cannot go back and finish the remaining 18 minutes of your planned workout after you answer or ignore the call. You can create an entirely new 15 or 30 minute workout, but you will have completely new skills and exercises. This is especially frustrating when you probably reviewed some of the more complex drills or exercises before your planned workout, and now you have to stand in the middle of the court with sweat dripping off your face onto your phone screen as you try to learn the new drills and exercises to continue your workout (or you just quit). Despite these annoyances, I still liked the app enough that I thought it was worth a month-to-month subscription (make sure your phone is charged and activate do not disturb when starting a workout). However, I am unable to start a subscription. When I launch the app now, I am informed that my free trial has expired and I need to start choose a subscription to continue. I choose the monthly option ($4.99) and select Start Subscription and nothing happens. The app just remains on that page. I tried closing the app, uninstalling the app, and have twice emailed customer service with zero response in five days. Bottom line - I think this could be an effective basketball training and workout app if you can start a subscription and avoid interruptions on your device during your workouts. If you have any issues, I would not expect customer service to be very responsive.
App worked great until lately. It’s been crashing everyone I am in a workout and I exit the app to go to another app. I used to do this and it would still be in the workout when I came back to this app but for some reason that isn’t working anymore.
Maybe allow users to view list of drills ? Pick favorites instead of randomized ?
I bought the year long membership and it says it will re new but I still have 8 months and it says I need to buy the membership again
Doing some of the drills jayson Tatum does is thrilling this is a great app if u r looking to be a great basketball player

I'm just a notch over 50 with 38+ years of watching and playing rec hoops. Unfortunately wasn't good enough to play high school so haven't ever got good coaching. I'm loving these workouts and the my games improvements. I use to do a lot of treadmill and exercise bike. Not any more... I can get just as good of a cardio burn while also improving my offensive skills. The mental challenge of repeating the drills keeps everything fresh. Some ideas for improvements... I want to quickly assign a grade to each drill so that the app can bring back ones I struggled with. It would be good to have some easier drills for my daughter that is 6 months into her journey. Love to see some partner passing drills that are more fun and challenging. Just some ideas...
I just love this app cause anyone can download it but those who really use it and work hard with it everyday and night will really see improvement in their game
