Noticed that there are inconsistent and sometimes slow updates or metars. AeroWeather is almost always updated within 5 minutes of a metar being published. I have experienced delays of 10 to 20 minutes at times with station weather pro. Improve reliability and speed of updates and I would rank it 4 stars.
After being promoted 6 times in a row between switching stations, I gave in and rated it. 4*s for the app, 0 *s for the annoyance.
And trust me, I’ve tried them all. Getting an app to successfully convey a ton of meteorological data in just an eye-glance was no small feat, but I’m here to tell ‘ya — “mission accomplished.”
Last update fixed the problem, application works as expected.
Does not refresh on phone. Does not update on Apple Watch either. Bad app that cost me money! Avoid!
Works flawlessly on iPhone. But crashes and won't work at all on watch with cellular.
A must have for a pilot and/or weather geek!
Good on the phone but not on apple watch It never shows updated info on the screen of the watch
I love that it integrates with the watch, and that’s primarily why I purchased it. The layout and overall features are decent. My complaint is that it doesn’t update often enough on the phone and hardly ever on the watch. I’ve had outdated METARs of over an hour during Wx changes and a METAR of over a day on the watch. Frustrating.
I like the visualization of the ceiling and the color coding App updates inconsistently and also some of the graphics need a good legend in order to understand.
