  • Good fun but really a pay to win game

    By Eva Rourge
Good fun if you just want to kill time and happen to be an automotive enthusiast. You have to pay (a lot) to win though - part and car "drops" are random so more often than not you end up paying real $ for something you don't actually need. That's why I'm taking a star off. Graphics are fantastic but the game frequently crashes on my iPad Pro - hence the second star off. Bottom line: if you enjoy casual drag racing and are not obsessed with being #1 (or if you don't mind spending $$$) - it is a very enjoyable game.

Having no control over the fusion/stage6 parts you receive is non-sense. Should be able to trade parts (2-1) to get what you need for your builds. Duplicate parts & cars are another issue. Selling duplicates for small amounts of cash doesn't cut it. I am currently stuck. Enabling trading for fusion/stage6 parts would improve experience for many of us. I deleted this app a year ago and I am starting to remember why. Progress is limited once you hit a certain point. 👎🏼

  • Concerns and Suggestions

This is a great game, I love it. I play everyday and I probably won't stop soon. My review isn't necessarily a review for other users rather than a list of concerns and suggestions for the makers of this game. First off, I have the T4 Camaro Z28 (dope car, super nice), but why does it have a turbo when it should be supercharged? I get that every car has the same upgrades so it's easier for the producers to make, but wouldn't it just be changing the name and image of the turbo to a supercharger in the upgrade window? I think the small details will make other users happier. Another user mentioned that they wanted the actual engine sounds of real life cars recorded and incorporated into the game. I would love that, but is it going to happen? Probably not. The producers of this game have other things to worry about. Once again, I just think small details like changing turbo to supercharger when needed will make car lovers happy (so me). Another thing I hate is live races. I. Hate. Live. Races. I just raced my fully upgraded with only one stage 6 part wit a +603 tune T5 Lamborghini Huracán. Now listen. The fastest I've ever got it to go in a 1/2 mile is 11.677 seconds. Which is fine. I'm still grinding to get it lower, but why does the game pit you up against people you can't even beat? I love the concept that you can race other people, but when I dyno tested my car (while literally writing this review!) it states that the MAX FASTEST I can go in a 1/2 mile is 11.628 seconds. 11.628. So why am I being set up against people who are racing the 1/2 mile in 11.4/11.5 seconds? There is no way I can go that fast. It's impossible without more upgrades/fusion parts, and even once I do that it'll just change the cars I'm racing against to be just that much faster. It just makes me so mad. It's ridiculous. It's such a waste of gas. Might as well just keep "grinding" by racing regulation over and over again which is so boring. Also, on the same note, why can't you race your friends? I understand that people would just race each other all day (purposely winning/losing to rack up cash and RP) and that it's unfair since it's really unlikely they'll have cars that race around the same 1/4 or 1/2 mile times. But it's still a cool idea to be able to race your friends without having to buy the same car and upgrade/tune it the exact same way just so you can find each other in live races. Finally, I have a T4 Chevy Camaro Z28 (mentioned this before), and I'm just waiting around trying to get fusion parts for it. I had to manually remove my fusion parts from my T3 Corvette Stingray that was going >10 seconds in a 1/4 mile so I could even stand a change to race against KJ's challenge in the TEMPE5T part of the game. Now I'm just stuck on the last leg of his challenge since my car still needs to lose approximately 0.2 seconds in order to win. I would go all the way to strip my Corvette (sad!) but it has 3 stage 6 parts installed and it costs 1,365 gold to remove them. In order to buy a completely new Corvette (in order to strip it, purely for fusion parts) is 865 gold. The only other cheaper Chevy option you can buy (can't buy any Chevy with cash in the game, you can only pay with gold or you have to win one) is the T3 Camaro SS for 785 gold. So right now I'm just either 1) waiting to win fusion parts through races or crates, 2) waiting to win a Chevy car from one of the crates so I can strip it for parts, or 3) saving up enough gold in order to buy either the Corvette or the Camaro to strip. So right now I'm just grinding trying to upgrade my T5 Ferrari LaFerrari to her full potential. It's kind of a bummer just waiting around for Chevy parts though, especially since there are so many cars. The odds of winning Chevrolet fusions part, or even winning a Chevrolet car in general, is extremely low. A little side note, but can we have more customization options for our cars? In the original CSR you could even put flames on your car if you wanted to. All CSR 2 has is stripes and random things like wood effect and black and white camouflage. Now the graphics in CSR 2 are so much better than CSR 1 so I shouldn't be complaining. But, uh, please? That's all I have for now. Great game, keep up the good work.

  • "Free" app that you have to pay for to be successful

    By mustanggttravis
Starts off ok but once you beat a "boss" they gain some magical super power that you can only overcome if you pay for... Deleted app once they tried to force me to "pay to play"
  • Pretty good

This is a good game, visually pleasing, interactive, etc. My current problem are the ads. I understand why they are there, don't mind that. However, some of them don't have a way to close them to get back to the game, so I have to completely close the app and restart. Waste of time and very annoying.
