I use to have iBank. My Desk top computer crashed so now I am having to use my laptop as my main computer. I found this program that is the closest to what I had. It has some good features that iBank didn't have. I'm still getting use to how this one works, so can't give it a 5 star rating yet.
Very Simple to use Register with Multiple Acct capability
The developer is always so helpful if I should have any issues. I sync on a desktop, laptop, phone and iPad and he always makes sure I am all set if I should have any issues. I LOVE Debit & Credit! It has made managing my money so very easy. I've used so many apps and this is by far the best!
I've only been using this for a couple of months but find it easy to access and verify my account funds with my banks. I'll consider the premiun version after the first of the year.
Also the developer responded to a couple of questions very quickly about in-app purchases.
I was encouraged to try this by the positive reviews from other MS Money users. I’ve been looking for a macOS alternative to MS Money because it’s one of only two programs that require me to open Windows in a VM. I exported QIF files from Money for all my accounts. Importing them into the app resulted in a train wreck every time. These accounts contain 5 years of transactions, including many transfers between 11 accounts. No matter how I went about it, the imports resulted in double entries and omissions. The Developer was very prompt in responding to my inquiries, but was not able to help. This app might be fine if you’re starting from scratch, but if you need to import years of transactions that include multiple transfers between multiple accounts, I do not recommend it.
Love this app
There doesn't seem to be anyway to get program to recognize transfers from 1 account to another. I live in the country where we have very poor internet & so won't be able to sync accounts online. So I would have to manually enter transactions 2x. Guess I'll look for another program that will work for both iPhone & Mac. (I miss Quicken that could do both)
