This app will keep you entertained and it has clever workouts. But the UI leaves much to be desired. This game was designed for those we have 20/20 vision. I’m 60 years old, almost, and it’s very hard for me to recognize the text and instructions that are often too small and blend with a background. I Had to cancel my subscription
Math is most challenging keeps me sharp!
Glitches, glitches, glitches and more repeated glitches. The challenging aspect is stimulating and increases your ability over time. Very frustrating when you get through an exercise rapidly and accurately only to be given a low assessment.
Truly enjoy this app and also find the new meditation app Balance equally enjoyable. Well designed from quality of subjects (brain training exercises), to presentation and application features. This is a great investment in the health of your brain and keeping those cognitive skills sharp and also synapses firing quickly. Keep the brain stimulated instead of slowing down which can happen. Use it of lose it, they say. Also a wonderful way to turn a mundane experience, such as when experiencing downtime while waiting for a drs appointment or waiting for a flight. Or even, for more serious Elevate brain trainers possibly taking a few minutes during the day to keep your mind thriving and growing with Elevates option of scheduling a series of brain training activities at a specific time as your day allows.
Loading a new game/challenge is too slow. There is no response when you tap the next challenges icon. I’m using a iPhone 13 Pro Max. It is just too slow.
This is one of the few education apps that really helps the material stick in my brain 🧠
The games are simple enough to understand and the study section actually helped me learned to read, talk, add, and subtract faster in my head. It’s taught me more words within the first 2 weeks than whatever would be taught to me in a traditional school. If you don’t think school has the tools to help you, this app does. You won’t regret downloading it.
Decided to try this app and when the week was up it automatically subscribed me to the most expensive membership of all - yearly $40. Let that be a lesson to me to never try those offerings. Overall it is about the same as the Lumosity brain training - no better, no worse. Not good to use before bedtime as many exercises are timed thus causing some amount of stress/anxiety. It’s fair certainly not a 4.8 rating.
The app starts you from the lowest level possible and then gradually increases game difficulty. This makes it look as though you are improving when in reality your skills are already above the difficulty of the game. This could be solved with an exam that evaluates your current abilities
