This app is truly amazing! Regardless if you want to work your body or your brain there are guided practice in Aptive for you. I highly recommended this app to any or all who desire to make their health a priority!! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!!
Functionality of the app is perfect, music is pretty great but there is no way to do yoga and strength training without video to show form and movement. Too expensive for "audio motivation" on the treadmill.
Workouts rarely updated. Workouts use the same music. Length of workouts never extended. I’ve submitted feedback Nd or improvement in fb and on the app...many agreed with my issues and recos. Yet nothing done. Do NOT waste your money. Fun for a month then boredom with infrequent updates.
If you have equipment or a place to run, this will be great for you I'm sure. Tons of tools and fun workouts. Being blind, broke, and with very little access to transportation, this app was not what I expected. I was under the wrongful impression that I didn't need equipment. But except for the yoga, and meditation, I would need equipment to do most workouts. Super bumbed
This app is very buggy and their support tools need more work. I think they are new so I hope it will evolve.
I love getting up and having a workout plan for cardio. The trainers are great, and the cardio programs are easy to follow. I never feel left behind. Not so much for the stretching though. I usually start off good but then I get lost. Can’t follow their direction. That’s a bit frustrating. Also wish there were some more low impact strength routines. All that said though, I don’t think I’d be as committed to my workout routine without Aaptiv.
I’ve had an Aaptiv subscription for about month now and I absolutely love it. I can’t afford a personal trainer and all the app subscriptions I was looking at were videos. I don’t know about anyone else, but trying to watch videos on my phone in a Planet Fitness just wasn’t practical for me. This was definitely the best solution. I took a leap of faith and paid for the whole year, planning on asking for a refund if I needed too, but I have no regrets! I’ve lost a few pounds and can feel myself getting stronger with every workout. And I feel like it’s helping me utilize the equipment to it’s full potential and I’m learning so much!! Two thumbs way up. A few minor things I wish could be added to the app: - I have problems doing the stretches because sometimes I don’t understand the trainer descriptions. I’m pretty sure I do a lot of the stretches wrong and it would be nice if they had the little demos that the strength training does. - I REALLY wish all my favorite workouts could be easily accessible somehow so I don’t have to search for them every time. Which brings me to... - it would be nice if there was a way to search through the workouts with key words. The filters are awesome, but sometimes I’m looking for a specific workout and searching for it specifically would be nice. Other than that I have no complaints! I’ve been telling all my friends about this and recommend it to everyone!
Wish I could pick my own music
This app charged my credit card without my knowledge and without notifying me in any way. When I asked to cancel the subscription, they informed me that I couldn’t bc I had already used the app. Since I didn’t know the subscription was coming to an end, there was no way of being able to stop using it. The subscription isn’t accessible in the app or the App Store and I didn’t have an online account. Don’t pay for this app unless you want to give money to a predatory company.
I’m sorry what? I’ve paid for the app but before I can access any workouts you’re forcing me to go through this stater pack? I got the app for strength training. I don’t care about some pointless cardio routine.
