I find the audio only format frustrating. The prompts don't always match the photos and I don't like having to stop the workout to check to see if I am doing the right move the right way. I intended to use this for strength training and wanted to mix up my gym time with a virtual trainer. This is not that for me.
It’s helped me schedule and keep on track toward my goals. Lots of options. Lots of things to learn.
I tried this app for two months, but the workouts were awful and didn’t fit what I needed. The music is terrible, the workouts are strange, and the options are limited. Save your money and get on YouTube.
I paid $30 for membership yet I can’t access any of the programs on the app total rip off
I’ve been a member for years and wondered if Dance might be considered a new workout category. Im always needing to change things up , have fun, and get a good workout. Please consider.
If you’re fine with music and a ‘trainer’ in your ear, then this app will work for you. I personally prefer a person in front of me, like a class and not have to manually switch pictures in the middle of my workout. Further, there isn’t enough content/variation.
I've tried to cancel this subscription for two years. Last year I unsubscribed through the iCloud subscription process but apparently that wasn't enough and I was billed another $100 this year without notice because I also needed to log in to the website and cancel my membership there. What a waste of $200.
Great app. Customer service takes a bit, but are responsive.
Love love love Aaptiv
I’ve tried a ton of them over the years, many of them quite good. One stumbling block for me was having to download and plough through .pdf documentation and often reformatting the instructions so as to be as tight and concise as possible. With Aaptiv, I can get right into the individual workouts without any need for studying. I have found two instructors whose audio guidance needs something to be desired, but the majority of them are excellent with Kenta topping the list. Like most people, I have days when I don’t feel like working out, but Aaptiv helps me get past it and hit the start button.
