Experience the magic of GPS audio walks, cycles, drives and even boat rides with VoiceMap tours in over 300 destinations worldwide. They’re like podcasts that move with you, to tell stories about what you’re seeing right now. VoiceMap’s tours are produced by insightful local storytellers, including journalists, filmmakers, novelists, podcasters, and tour guides. Sir Ian McKellen has even created a tour. It's around London's West End, where he has performed for over 50 years. Features: ◆ VoiceMap works offline. After you download a tour, the audio will be available offline along with an offline map. ◆ With GPS autoplay, you can focus on your surroundings, not the screen. Tap on Start, and let VoiceMap guide you. ◆ If you do go off in the wrong direction, VoiceMap plays an audio alert, and you can follow the map on your screen to the next location. ◆ Listen to tours as many times as you like both in the destination and in virtual tour mode at home ◆ With nearly 1,000 free and paid tours, VoiceMap offers huge variety Reviews and Testimonials: "High-quality self-guided walking tours...Narrated by local experts, they provide insight into corners of the city sometimes overlooked by regular guided tours." Lonely Planet “We may be biased, but could there be anything more helpful than having a journalist in your pocket when touring a new city? How about a historian, a novelist or just a really passionate local? VoiceMap culls city-specific stories from them all and fits them neatly into walking tours.” New York Times “Great value for money, interesting and very clear and easy to follow! I learnt lots about London I didn't already know and I have lived here over 30 years.” Carmella V. London’s Alternative History Tour "I loved the tour, bought all of the New Orleans ones you had and have already recommended it to two people. As an amateur photographer who likes to take his time it was great. I will without a doubt continue to use the app." Jeremy L Faith & Courage: Metairie Cemetery Stories, New Orleans “Loved this! Real eye opener for me as a new resident of Singapore who thought this only an island of foodies and engineers. LOL! Please produce more soon!” Craig DeLarge Artoholic Singapore “I did my first VoiceMap tour and the Chanel tour blew me away. I can only recommend.” Christelle Colman Coco Chanel's Paris "My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this 'talk and walk'. A real eye opener and superbly narrated. This is a first class experience, our first with VoiceMap, and we look forward to using this program frequently in other cities. " Keith F Witches Riots and the Cold War, Berlin ** Just so you know, GPS runs in the background while you're on a tour. This decreases battery life and it's best to start a tour with your device fully charged.

Just finished my tour of Potsdam and it was perfect for a small day trip!

Enjoy an informative walk in the city

I’ve listen to 3 of the tours in NYC, a great interactive tour to guide you through the city while listening to the history as the city has changed. Highly recommend for a first time visit or if you’ve lived here for years and you want to know more about the history of your city

Loved the tour!

Enjoyed the interesting history. Lots of cute shops and places to eat or snack. Nice stop at the pioneer living museum where we panned for gold and used the restroom. We spent 4-5 hours enjoying all the sights and didn't make it to the last stop: the beautiful truss bridge, though we did drive by it and listened to the last of the audio in the car. I like how the app lets you go at your own pace and repeat or advance as needed. We didn't bring headphones but they would have been helpful due to the street noise. Also be careful at some of the busy crossings!

Excellent tour of Toulouse - not to be missed

For first time or return visitors, this is an excellent VoiceMap tour of the old city center area of Toulouse. Not only is Elyse an excellent historian/art historian, but she also gives wonderful context to the buildings, but also adds details and notes of places you might want to pause at or return to after the tour to take a closer look. Also don’t miss her conversations that you can access through the website and podcast called Join Us in France. There are many episodes that take place in Toulouse and great ideas for day trips in and around Toulouse.

Secrets of Golden Gate Park

Fabulous tour! The directions are thorough and clear, even for direction-challenged folks like me. The stories along the way are interesting and fun. Heather and Peter are perfect tour guides!

Terrific but not perfect

The app was very clever in its use of GPS to activate the guide’s voice for the next location. It seemed a little clunky if I wanted to pause the tour when I wanted to check out something at the location which is not part of the tour.

My Experience with VoiceMap at SSR

Coming to SSR today is dream come true for me. And VoiceMap made my tour easy, convenient and illuminating. Right from the gate, I got a comprehensive introduction to the history of the garden, and the clear voice of Dave, my virtual tour guide, was very friendly and comforting. I got the names of the trees, plants and various species. My most interesting part was the point where I was shown the various trees planted by celebrities that had visited the garden. That was awesome! As a tour operator myself, I’ll definitely recommend this app to my clients and industry colleagues, especially in my home country, Nigeria. Big thanks to Indibleu for this amazing tech product. This is the future! Sam Adeleke Chief Explorer, TravelWithSamGlobal Lagos, Nigeria November 8, 2022

Let’s Wait & See

Was excited to download the app. Had never heard of anything like this & it had great reviews. Downloaded & then the trouble started. App kept crashing. Deleted and reloaded twice. Would get past a page or 2 and crash again. Rebooted phone & waved my magic wand and was finally able to actually start a tour. Well, it started…about 6 blocks ahead of where it showed us on the map. Took awhile and some more feats of technology knowledge but we finally synced us and the app. Lastly, directions would verbally instruct you away from the onscreen map & leave you hanging. Went back to following just the map and the descriptions began again. The tour was great. Very informational and I look forward to trying another location. I just hope I’ve exorcised all the glitches.

Best way to explore a new city

Highly recommended! Give it a try if you’ve never taken an audio walk.

Savannah historic tour

Great job! Great information and the app worked perfectly. We could take our time and explore and the app tracked us starting the narrative when we went to the next point of interest. Definitely worth doing. More information than just reading the historical Plaques.
