Love this for keeping an ongoing list of people
This product does 90% of what 100% of people need.
I have no idea who is rating this app with so many 5 star ratings, but the app is outrageously clunky vs using it in a browser. For some reason, my sheets documents have been refusing to let me opt out of using the app so I attempted to use the app this morning. 1. Typing into a cell and using the left or right arrow doesn’t work 2. Highlighting a row to insert is a way too many step process 3. After finally highlighting cells to insert a row, clicking anywhere on the screen brings up the “cut, copy, paste” features even though I’m using command + c or command + x. 4. Command + d does not copy the value from the cell above like it does in the browser version 5. Format painter is non-existent? The list goes on, but those browser features that aren’t available in the app that the browser prompts you to open every time you use sheets is enough to rate this app with a 1 star. It’s an infuriating app.
I love the app. The only thing I don't like Is that I have to go to Apple app to open it. Why can't it be like other apps that can be added and opened on the Home page.
Just got home and I’m on the road now
I got this app because I’m transitioning over to using my iPad instead of a laptop, and it’s great for looking at data already inputted and making basic changes or adjustments, but the more advanced functions (and even some convenient ones) do not work. For instance, I can’t click and drag to move cells—I need to copy and paste or reenter the data by hand. There is also no top menu bar, so you are severely restricted by how you can edit in-cell. However, I can just hop on Safari (not Chrome, because it redirects me to the app) and access all those features the app has—plus the more complex ones the app lacks. It’s a great app for basic tracking and sums, but why should I have this clogging up my storage when I can hop on the web and do an even better job?
The visible options in the menu of the iOS and iPad apps are very limited. MS Office is superior.
So freaking hard for people that are not very technological.
Please add more detailed personal finance worksheet templates. American curriculum doesn’t help kids with it… you should!
Surprisingly good functionality on the mobile. I use it for fast growth calculations.
