See the title. Once a photo is selected, the photo crop popup appears. It has only a “cancel” button. No option for ok/yes/upload/whatever. As a result, there is no way to upload any new photos from any source. iPhone 13 mini here.
I have found that I definitely am not going to renew after three months because the results were a failure. No one lived by me. There were no responses from the very meager number that did live by me and it’s all about results. The app works OK just looking at that but since the results are zero, I know for sure I’m not going to use this app in the future. I wish I could get a refund.
I can't update my photos in the app
There are so many other things I’d like to be able to filter my searches by. Things like how many children they want, if any; level of education, which they actually ask you for, and then don’t do anything with; drinking or smoking habits; bio size, because in my experience, anyone without a bio isn’t serious; and other things like that. Please implement stuff like this.
This Swipe works ok... however it would be even better if selecting range had more selective options... instead it just has 100, 250, 500, 1000 and worldwide..😗. Where’s 2000 or 2500 or 2600... mind you .. if you live in SF and want to reach someone in Miami.. thats 2550 miles away.. ... I don’t want to be swiping in france 🇫🇷 or 🇬🇧.. or 🇦🇺 But ... awesome & a great app to keep zeeZhuz Swiping 🙌
This app is living in early days of iPhone. Note to the developers catch up to modern times and refresh this app
Open Response to developer: Every excuse you gave me is not pertinent to the scammers who I spoke to. As I mentioned, I got one to confess and he doesn’t have any special membership etc. He is Nigerian and is allegedly in Dubai. Highly doubt it. A second person was supposed to be from Las Vegas, almost 33 miles from my NH town! He was allegedly on an oil rig, as a “professional,” near Mexico (of course he lost a machine and couldn’t leave etc.). He was originally from “South Africa.” I have relatives from South Africa and they don’t speak like Nigerians! These people were not swiping near me because as soon as I opened their profiles, one allegedly lived in CA and the other, I already mentioned. The 3rd & 4th scammers couldn’t possibly be 33 miles away and immediately move to WA or AL! Stop lying to your customers about where people are swiping! Don’t make us responsible for your lack of security either! Are you sure that you, Developers are not in Nigeria?! Who’s supplying these people with the plethora of pictures? The slightest information about Judaism? You need to be shutdown if you can’t take responsibility for your code that is not safe! I wonder how many people fell victim to these predators? Update: BEWARE…Everyone I talked to was a SCAMMER! Photo verification not required! I actually got one person to confess! So many things are wrong with this app. But let’s start with the distance setting. Why bother with it? I have just started using the app and have already chatted with a couple of people who were “33 miles away” and in reality one was about as far south as possible from me w/o being in the Gulf of Mexico and the other was over 1200 miles to the west! I’m certain that #3 is also on the west coast, I am in Northern New England, btw. Then there are the “most eligible,” people who are only available for paid members. And guess what—your matches…have to pay to see them! Did not rate 1 star because you do get to try to figure out if there are any people who might be interesting and reasonably close by.
It’s 2023 why do all photos look like they were on plenty of fish circa 2008? Please improve your UX/UI and graphics. The photo quality is terrible.
Looking for a taste of online dating? Jswipe is a low-effort way to begin. Looking for something else? Not so good. To get an idea of what the online dating world looks like (don't expect too much more), I suggest putting a small amount of time into the app—no more than ~20 minutes per day, or you'll be wasting your time—over a week or two, using your daily Super Swipe on people you find interesting. At this point, you'll have approximately maximized your results: you'll have gotten some idea of what online dating looks like, and hopefully gotten someone interesting to talk to you. I wouldn't count on getting a lot else out of this service, and paying doesn't really give you anything, both of which are why this is a 4-star review. If it were possible to buy Super Swipes from the get-go so you could spend a few hours in one sitting blasting through everyone you want to Super Swipe, then drop the app (save for checking back biweekly to see if you've gotten any matches), I'd give this a 5-star review. But you can't: to buy Super Swipes, you need to first buy a subscription for $25/mo, which isn't worth for the results. Right now, I suggest you use the app for free. If you could buy Super Swipes without paying for anything else, I'd suggest you invest the ~$10 and upgrade this to a 5-star review.
