It’s not working at all on my iPhone
I have been using this app since nursing school, & still use it today. The best part is the organization. I frequently search for class, adverse effects, side effects, clinical teaching, and interactions. I love how they keep it updated. Had to give it 4 stars due to being frustrated when not updating it right away & becoming locked out, other than that I love it & hope it stays cheap or even free for healthcare providers, because I don’t remember paying for it when I first got it (but could be wrong).
I don’t know what changed the good juju for this app, and despite the fact that I’ve paid yearly, I’ve had other issues that up till now I’ve tolerated. Today’s pain in the neck is that this app won’t take my passwords again! But based on the comments I’ve read, and my loss of patience, I’m going to look at all the other mobile med apps and consider changing.
What an indispensable and user-friendly guide this is !! Beyond all of its nice specifications, the TOXICOLOGY part is really UNIQUE ! Thank you very much !
No option to see IV compatibility when needing to Y-tube meds on the fly. Worthless for ICU setting
This app has become unusable in our practice — even though the medication data inside it is first rate. The problem is that IBM has layered a username+password+email on top of the iTunes App Store purchase authentication for this $2.99 per year app. When the app updates it asks for username and password. When the doctor or PA-C has trouble, IBM asks they create a new user name and new password. HOWEVER, IBM then rejects the new data because the “email is in use by another account”. There is NO password recovery of any kind Additionally, when the app asks for the $2.99 annual renewal fee, it fails to process and in one cased asked for the purchase authorization SIX times. We have nine mobile physicians, PA-Cs, FNP and RNs in this medical practice trying to use this app. The support requirements are now too high, We give up. Used this app for years. Now calling Apple for refund on all users.
It’s a great reference to quickly access the drug information I need.
This is the best app for medications. The information contained is curated. Other programs will have long lists of side effects that end up looking the same because the list of side effects list every imaginary side effect. Micromedex’s list is clinically relevant. It is quick, easy to use and best of all it is recognized as one of the authoritative resources for non-FDA uses of medications when fighting for PAs.
I’ve used this app for years, with complete satisfaction. I renewed in May, and one month later they notified me the app was getting ready to expire. They have now locked me out of the app. I contacted support and they resolved the issue quickly. I’m back to being a happy user.
this app is full of bugs and outdated informations
