This app is amazing!!
I was getting ready to tour Big Bend National Park in Texas when I saw a brochure for this app. I looked at it and it sounded good, too good. So I downloaded it anyway. I figured the “in app purchases” would be crazy and then I’d delete the app. Wrong again. The map for Big Bend didn’t cost anything. When we started using it I couldn’t believe how much information was being given to us. It followed us through the Park and made the trip probably 10 times better than it would have been. Very easy to understand and very detailed. So next we went to Moab, UT to check out Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Parks. This map cost $15.99. I would have gladly paid more. It was another amazing experience. We didn’t have to read a map or some brochure to try figure out what we were seeing. Just sit back (or in my case) drive and enjoy the show. I would love to see a collaboration with Just Ahead and the Milepost. That would make the drive up the Alaska/Canadian Highway so much more fun. Keep up the good work. Can’t wait for our next National Park.
Just Okay
There are a lot of directional things in here - like “turn ahead”. I bought it more for the narration and information. Also, the app says you can listen manually if you want, without driving down the road, but that’s not true. Support told me they did a map update and took that feature away. So overall, it was just okay for me. Support only gets 1 star, too. They were quite slow and didn’t respond to my last email.
Love this app
I first purchased a guide years ago, for Joshua Tree. I use the app every time I go, bringing visitors. It’s incredibly accurate and like having a tour guide with you. Amazing. I did contact customer service once for assistance with my account (user error) and they were prompt and fixed the issue within minutes so that I could use the app immediately. Very happy!
Big Bend National Park Guide
I highly recommend this guide. It got us around the park with no issues. Great information and we took the advice to see key locations.
Joshua Tree pal
This guide was great ! In the way to Joshua Tree it gave history and recommendations and we loved the insight it provided as we drove through the park. They mentioned that you needed fuel, food and water multiple times so you could make sure you were prepared for the park with enough resources.

I love this app - not only does it provide helpful & interesting information a points along the drive but it also is an excellent planning tool. You can listen to the audio before your trip .... or travel to all these places in your arm chair !! They have excellent, prompt, personal customer service as well. 5 Stars!
Yellowstone tour perfect (2018)
We used the Yellowstone tour in 2018 and it was amazing. We were able to learn so much about the park while we were driving. It pointed out many spots that we would’ve missed, either because we didn’t realize the turn was there or it pointed out things we hadn’t discovered in our reading. Of course, you need to download the Maps ahead of time, which are traveling companions in another car did not. The missed out on so much! That it works with the satellite GPS is perfect of course because cell reception is very spotty in Yellowstone. I can’t say enough about how this app enhanced our trip. Thank you!
Absolutely excellent
This app truly enriches any visit to a National Park. I’ve used it for years, and it is the perfect companion. Fauna, flora, geology, history, sights, hike recommendations - all presented in an easy-to-digest format, at exactly the right moment. Best money you will ever spend!
Love this app!
I used this app and bought the package for $19.99 to tour the Death Valley National Park and it wad totally worth it. The app told us about things to do and best vista points in the park. The app also narrated interesting stories about the history of the park and kept us entertained. I would highly recommend everyone to download this app and purchase before you visit any National Park!
