The red circle with a number in it does not disappear after reading items. Also the number in the red circle is meaningless.
I have several e versions of newspapers and this is a horrible platform. I continue to have problems accessing articles and my own account. I’ve called customer service and I am concerned by the complete lack of concern around retaining readers. I’ve spoken with others who also continually have problems with log in, staying logged in, and being able to access content that we are paying for at the moment. I want to support local papers and journalists but it appears that these obstacles are or no concern.
Keeps asking me to subscribe, even while it is saying hi to me, while I am signed in.
Love Jim Daughtery’s columns in sports. Wish our pro teams were better. Don’t like leftward drift of this once conservative paper!
I get my news here. Good writers. Cincinnati yeah
App continually kicks me out and forces me to log back in. System is so slow to respond that I get a timeout error before I’m able to complete my sign in. No wonder the circulation is decaying.
There is an option to decide which notifications you can sign up for. However, if you sign up for any, you get all. Please fix this. I just want breaking news and that is the only option toggled, but I get notifications for EVERY news story. Otherwise, great app.
This was a great app but in the last few months it has been one of the worst. I have a subscription and it still does not work correctly. I have deleted the app and reinstall and still have a problem. I find the problem is with Cincinnati.com not refreshing on there end like they should. I’m not sure I will renew my subscription again.
Cincinnatians are lucky to have such a top notch newspaper and local journalism team. And their app is great, too. What more can you ask for?
The app is user friendly, easy to navigate, stable, and the ‘top stories’ are generally well selected. Definitely good for subscribers.
