Onenote is s very enjoyable recourse for my learning. It is very easy to use
Poor writing experience when i use apple pencil on ipad. Non customizable pen thinkness, like goodnotes. Also some bugs erases the things i write if they are on top of some textbox. Sync is an issue as well. Not sure why I come back to this app, please fix it
OneNote is a great tool to keep notes in especially if you have notes on several topics. It not only allows you to keep all your notes in one place, but wherever you can log in to a computer and to your account, you have your notes with you! LOVE OneNote!
Great!
Everything about this product is amazing for what i do. Only one issue I have is the inability to choose specific Sections of notebooks for sharing. I have only been able to lock sections with passcode but everyting is shared.
The auto-correct is one of the worst. On my Apple Notes app, it will auto-correct like in iMessage. However, this app won't correct a word with a letter off, causing me to go back and re-type when I'm in the middle of lecture. Please introduce better autocorrect!
I use the OneNote primiarily for academic reasons. It’s great for catergorizing and classifying information and transportability across devices. However, I do wish there was a built-in synonym feature. It is very poor at syncing effectively across devices.
I have been working with Onenotes for awhile and suddenly it crahsed and will not stay open - and will not let me access my files online. Not happy.
Updated review: March 20223 Search experience is still sub-par when compared against Notion, Simplenote etc. Poor support for code snippets, inter-links and other modern features. My biggest complaint would be sync issues - I still see sync errors where the app struggles to reconcile even trivial branching scenarios. -------------------------------- Updated review: 9/12/2021 My chief complaints are - the app is rather slow once you have around 800 notes or more. The search indexing is sub par. The view still does not show the last edit dates for the notes. ---------------------------------------------- I have been using OneNote ever since it came out in early 2007. After 13 years, this software is reliable as ever. A lot of fringe functionalities have been removed, sync issues resolved, collaboration improved and search has been made rock solid. I don't any longer use the hand annotation or equation / calc functions I used to use when I was a student. One minor request would be to show notebook modified times in the list view
good app
