Slows down my Internet speed and I have a very slow server I have two addresses that I use one is very fast the other one is very slow I noticed that it is slow because of the server that I’m using through IPVanish VPN.
Now this VPN does sound good until there’s money involved. I mean just for a 1 year subscription you’ll have to fork over 79.99$. At this point, I’m going back to using Any other VPN service that’s actually free and not some “Bypass the ads” service that costs and arm and a leg for 3-4 years worth of a subscription.
After i put in my paypal information it processed the $9.99 payment for 1 month, then immediately i went back to the log in page and it didnt recognize my email as if i never created an account to begin with. I payed $9.99 for nothing i cant use the app. Dont lose your time and money downloading this
I had the app for 20 minutes before I had to go to customer service and request a refund. Was told that I would have to connect to a server manually any time I needed to change servers while connected to my home WiFi. Not the kind of service I am looking for in a VPN service.
No on line support.uses Zendesk.same as Uber and Lyft.they make up questions and answers.left me swinging in breeze
I admit I am new to VPNs but I can read and learn. But can't find adequate documentation. What do all those settings mean? Which should I choose? How does it work and what should I expect to see? It seems to work in one place but not another and I don't know why. Just because I see pretty graph curves moving across the screen, does that mean I am protected? Please provide more documentation.
I have been trying to download app all day. It has not downloaded yet. Can’t wait to use it
Customer reason to purchase a VPN is to prevent watchful prying monitoring. If you want to enjoy your membership IPVanishVPN requires the customer to add a VPN configuration. Disclosure: “ALL network activity may be filtered or monitored when using VPN”. So basically- personal VPN will vanish however, IPVanishVPN we will monitor and filter your use.
I’ve had IPVanish for almost a year or so. Here’s my experience: works great for fire stick…even though it slows down the speed. I would avoid the app on an iPhone as you will experience a lot connection issues (frequent drops in connectivity and slow speeds). IPVanish will tell you to be mindful of where you are (e.g. if you’re phone is switching from cellular data vs WiFi). The low rating comes from connectivity issues regardless of location since I frequently have to turn on and off the on demand while still on the same network. On demand is not very reliable, keep an eye on your device, there’s always a chance you’re not connected when you should be. Lastly, the customer service. They are responsive and polite but can’t really do much about a connectivity issue other then to tell you to make several changes in the app. I had one guy ask me to do a laundry list of things that someone who has background in computer science or coding (or someone employed by IPVanish)could do, but not the average guy or gal. NONE of their assistance has resulted in a real, long term solution. I’ve had to open a ticket for the same issue several times (always connectivity related). My advice: better luck elsewhere? There’s probably a better product out there for a seamless vpn service that’s consistently reliable. IPVanish isn’t horrible, but due to the lack of reliability in there product, can’t recommend them unfortunately.
Doesn’t even work in China
