I love this app
Great and pretty easy to use but only giving a 4 because the app is missing features from the desktop version which is a super bummer because I can’t work from my phone or iPad as much as I would like to.
I found this program fairly easy to learn and lots of help from the Cricut community.
I know lots of people say they have issues but honestly I have not had any yet and knock on wood that I don’t!!! Design space is great!
Cricut Design Space for IPad help me to make my transition to going fully to my iPad an completely off the desktop for work. As soon as I found out Cricut had a fully functional app for the iPad along with Affinity Designer my MacBook Pro and Cameo silhouette became history. I will add the 5th star as soon as their SVG converter becomes usable. Every time I try to convert a jpeg to SVG it distorts the image too much but I found another outside program that renders a usable SVG. Other than that thanks Cricut for making design space available for iPad and iPhone Yay!!!
1) Shape menu permanently disabled (available on web). 2) Size and position values show only 1 decimal place (.25 shows as .3) 3) some cuts require laptop, cannot be done from the iPad These and other small issues mean anything very complex and you have to choose another program and run the cut from you laptop. Since this program can only be used with the Cricut machine, these restrictions make no sense and hinder its usefulness. I own a Cricut Maker, and my iPad mini 5 should be able to pull the full usefulness from the machine.
I have the maker got it for my birthday and Mother’s Day wish you would let me do like designing my own designs but over it does a very good job The app needs more work but each day on it thanks
Love that I can do everything from my iPhone!
The app is hard to use on an iPad.
The iPad app does not recognize fonts that are included on cartridges that are primarily images, such as Life is a Beach and Quarter Note. This is pretty frustrating, and should be fixed in a future release!
