The free version of EMT PASS contains one 10-question sample examination with audio rationale answers as well as 7 introductory audios with test-taking tips and information on how to use the app. The full version of EMT PASS 2.0 (requires in-app purchase) is now enhanced with written rationales, newly revised audio rationales, and EMT PASS Predictive Scoring ™ to help you better prepare for your NREMT or state certification exam. The NREMT is a pass or fail exam – it is not about getting 100% of the questions correct- it is about proving you know the material. EMT PASS Predictive Scoring™ will show you if we predict you will pass or not based on your exam performance and whether you have demonstrated you have the required breadth of knowledge. The rationales have been revised to give you not only the answer, but provide you with information you need to be a better test taker and EMT. The rationales are mini 1-2 minute teaching lectures to help you learn to read a question, take apart the puzzle of a scenario or EMS call, and provide the needed pathophysiology knowledge at the EMT level. EMT PASS contains 960 challenging questions in 8 examinations and over 20 hours of audio recordings, EMT PASS™ is the single, high quality tool you need to pass the exam. The app is broken up into three sections. Section one covers the first half of the EMT knowledge base; the second half covers the remaining material. Section three contains two simulated final examinations. But our features don’t stop there: •Use EMT PASS™ at your desktop or on your phone or tablet by using the app or logging into http://LC-Ready.com with your account information. •7 mini-podcasts explain the exam and provide study advice and tactics. •Pause exams if you get a call or go into class. The program resumes where you left off when you are ready. •Each exam has a specific pass/fail cut score based on difficulty level. •You receive customized audio feedback on exams based on your performance. •High quality test questions and detailed audio rationales support users regardless of learning style or reading ability. EMT PASS™ is an exam preparation product like no other. What makes this product unique is the combination of high quality test questions and detailed audio rationales created by Bill Brown, former Executive Director of the NREMT. All exam items in EMT PASS™ are original work. This product is designed to closely simulate the NREMT exam but does not contain any actual NREMT exam items. Limmer Creative and Bill Brown both support and respect the NREMT and its mission.
I’m certain I would not of passed the NREMT without this app. It was the only one I used to practice and it was very similar to the actual test. Use this app!! I used it for 3 weeks and passed after 67 questions. Worth every dollar. Thanks!!
NREMT was a joke compare to the questions in this app!!! I missed 50% of the questions here and when I took the NREMT it cut me off after 70 questions and I passed .
This app is a joke. The maker of the app gives ok explanations for his questions, but the correct answers are completely his opinion. Nothing like the NREMT exam at all!! He tells you that you will fail the National Registry test if you don’t average a 70% on his exams. I averaged under a 60% and passed the NREMT on the first try with the minimum amount of questions which was about 70ish. The best way to study for the NREMT is the Crash Course EMT book by Chris Coughlin. Great practice questions and helpful explanations to all concepts. His book is under $10 and this garbage app is $30. Study Smarter Not Harder!!
This definitely helped me prepare for my NREMT exam. The way the questions were laid out helped me think critically in a way that directly correlated to the exam. I passed on my first try in 70 questions, and owe some of the credit to these practice tests.
Great App, have not used it long but it seems very good. Everyone I know who uses this app speaks nothing but praise about it. Just wish the app would work on my iPad OS, not sure why, even after a few ipadOS updates
When I saw the reviews for this app I was a little nervous to spend $30 on it. But I purchased it anyway and man it was the best decision ever. This app can not be surpassed in quality by any other app/program. The rationals and audio feedback helped me understand how the test was written and exactly what the person writing the questions was looking for. None of the others did. I started out missing almost every question on the tests. And yes sometimes I wanted to smash my head on a wall ‘cause of the questions. But even so, I would go back and study the book, review the test, then take the next one. Eventually I passed the two Final exams first try!! Some of y’all say that Bill was harsh, but honestly you can tell that he seriously cares the students and wants to help them become better EMTs. His rationals really helped me understand what the question was asking for. After completing all the tests on this app, I took the NREMT and thought it was EASY. It cut me off at 70 questions and I passed first try. Moral of the story is that if you invest your time in this app and take what you learned and apply it, the NREMT won’t be as scary and intimidating. I honestly don’t think I would have been able to pass without first using this app. Thank you to Bill and all of the crew at Limmer Creative!!!
The content of this app is challenging which is definitely a good thing for studying the EMT test. But I had to stop listening to the audio feedback because this guy’s demeanor is so jaded and negative that it’s counterproductive and discouraging.
Really tough, some strange answers and an instructor that makes you feel dumb. Still, I like apps that I struggle with, more than those I do really well with. It helped to know where I felt I didn’t have as good of an understanding, in order to study those areas more.
My app frequently crashes or freezes momentarily. The user interface is really, really basic and changes the font size/display on my phone while in use. For $30 I’d expect a whole lot better than this janky thing. Content-wise, this is really in-depth and challenging. There’s some stupid questions with two right answers, or answers that contradict what I learned in my training/book, and some the author tells you to just “don’t worry about.” It’s admittedly by design and meant to make you hate the NREMT a little bit less. I kinda question if the content is up to date though.
After failing my first attempt at NREMT I downloaded this in hopes of being challenged more while studying and boy does it ask some challenging questions, makes you think about the questions in depth and will surely over prepare you for NREMT. Worth $30 in my opinion
