I was feeling lazy about meeting scheduling, so I decided to try Fantastical again because of the new Openings and Proposal features. I had problems with getting my calendars to appear, but that was fixed by restarting Fantastical. Then I couldn’t find where to propose a meeting (it’s an option when creating an event, but Openings is a separate thing). On an iPad, you can propose multiple times, but you can’t see your calendar when you do so. You are not even warned when a proposed event conflicts with a scheduled one. The proposal feature also thought there was one person who hadn’t responded, even though everyone had. This is NOT better than free on-line schedulers. This is in line with my previous experiences with their event parser, which is just not good enough to trust. To summarize: they want me to pay a premium subscription price for something that makes core activities more difficult. UPDATE: Got a Black Friday offer from Flexibits, and was tempted. Then I tried it again to use it and was reminded about past problems. Read the reviews, and decided “No way.”
I’ve been a user of this app since 2011 or 2012 and i looooved this app. Then few years ago this app became hard to use. It keeps on crashing! I tried the subscription version but it still kept on crashing. I tried looking for a to do app that has similar functionality with this one but sadly nothing comes close. I made a review here(i gave a negative review) and the company contacted me and asked me if I wanted to participate in a beta version group or something and I agreed because I really loved this app and I also want to help improve it. I did it for few years (giving feedbacks) and it still keeps on crashing! So i finally broke up with this app and just forget about this. Fast forward to a month or two ago when I upgraded my phone from iPhone 7 plus to iPhone 14 pro max and I tried using this app again and it was working properly!! The app doesn’t crash anymore! you can just tap the recurring to do list(the feature the i love the most) and it works! I’m guessing that the problem is my phone! I’m giving you Fantastical 4 stars instead of 5 because you didn’t tell me that maybe it’s already time for me to upgrade my phone LOL! and also so that you’ll keep improving the app and not to be complacent because as of right now, THIS APP IS THE BEST TO DO/CALENDAR APP!
Let me disable natural language processing.
Fantastical was great, they added a really high subscription price and I resisted. Then I got a cha ce to get a slight discount with parallels, ok - I’ll bite because using it for work could be great. Well, it’s not. It doesn’t sync with the calendar in an appropriate way. Meaning, when I update soemthing on my work o365 fantastical typically doesn’t feel like telling me about it, maybe if it’s a couple of weeks away it will sync sometime before the event, but usually not. Support response “sign in, reset, send logs” I don’t have time in my life to troubleshoot an overpriced calendar app that can’t do function 1 correctly. Don’t thibk syncing is function 1? What about adding events, because I just spent 3-5 mins making s calendar event perfectly and fantastical blew away the title, location, and changed the day when I hit save. This app is expensive and massively overrated at this point. Most personal calendars can be well Managed with iOS / apple calendar. Work calendars, just use gmail or outlook. If you need to see them overlaid, you can, without paying s fortune (relatively) for an app that brings constant frustration and lacks even basic functionality. I’ve been around since initial launch, I have the “unlocked features” from early support, which is a lot, and I still won’t be using it anymore, even with a while of my subscription left it’s not worth the hassle.
Widgets work for about a minute and then go blank.
I don't know what companies expect from consumers, but this new model of making everything a subscription is unsustainable for many people. I just can't justify paying for something until the end of time. I LOVE this app. I have used it for years, but now it's lacking because they took away all the features I loved and put it behind a subscription rate. I'm considering going back to Google Calendar. I paid what for me at the time was a lot of money for the desktop version and it was hurtful and deceptive to have them then say, years later, sorry, you now have to pay every month even for basic features like sound alerts for events... I mean come on! I'd pay a lump sum to own the program, but not $40 a year to infinity for a calendar. It's absurd and unfortunate.
đồng bộ cực nhanh, widget update còn nhanh hơn cả ứng dụng lịch của apple, tài khoản free đủ dùng cơ bản, rất đáng để cài đặt, cảm ơn nhà phát triển!
Hi flexibits I’m liking the calendar app so far however, sometimes if her user doesn’t hear the initial notification if they have one notification set then there should be like a repeated “nag“ option like every minute, 10 minutes, 1 hour…until an event is acknowledged. The second thing is if I have multiple alert times set for an even, it should only show up once in notifications like a like a live event instead of three or four notifications for the same event that creates a lot of unneeded clutter in the notification Center. I hope the team will consider these suggestions as they are really efficiency-based and not just aesthetic wishes.
The app is great. However, the events list widget frequently turns blank and stops showing any info both on my iPhone and iPad. Disappointing.
