Overall a great app

This is by far my fave nav app. It’s fast & simple to use. Creating even complex routes is a doddle and can be done in minutes. Honestly, there are only two things that I would change… First, 3D (two finger swipe up) is the bane of my existence. LOL I’m forever switching to 3D accidentally. I wish I could simply shut it off. Forever. Second, but more importantly, I wish “Via” could be set as the default waypoint instead of a “Stop.” “Stops” for me are just that. It due to the complexity of some of my routes…it’s useless to announce a waypoint that is only there to keep the app from sending me another way, despite that way being “better” in some cases. It would EXCELLENT to have the option of using “Via” OR “Stop” as the users default. Other than that, it’s solid.

Great App let down by maps

I’ve used this program for years and years and it’s great if you have a connection but if you go off the beaten path and lose your connection you lose navigation and the program is useless. The workaround of scrolling the map to load it into memory is weak because a restart flushes it.

Excellent app for Oversized loads

We have been using the app for almost a year. Easy to use and transfer routes to apple users. Would like to see more details in the future. Mile posts and Exit numbers. Some street names need to updated. Overall enjoy using it.

Excellent app

Not only is the app excellent the immediate customer service is second to none. I have contacted multiple times and always get a response within 24 hours. This app is extremely valuable for GeoCaching. The fact that you can very easily optimize the route to multiple caches for driving then use your handheld compass for the final smiley. I have recently used to plan for a DeLorme Challenge in Vermont where you have to find 37 caches all over the state. I can divide and color code my daily caching route’s anyway I choose. AWESOME

Great for Planning Car Club Drives!

I’ve been more than frustrated with other mapping apps when it comes to planning drives for my Miata Club. EnRoute puts you in charge of the route. The monthly fee is a bit of a bummer, but for me it’s totally worth it. EnRoute does what other apps do not.

Best routing app available

Best multi-day routing app available. iCloud lets you do phone, computer and tablet planning. I only use the phone to do the actual navigation. Also you can export to share gxp files with others even google maps or to your SATNAV devices. Workflow begins with searching for the destination, then searching for daily lodging stops at either a distance, time, or distance from a pin, then add in a search for fuel and meal stops. Choose a departure time. Done. Another neat feature is the charts of your route. Choose elevation, curviness, temperature, humidity, precipitation, or wind speed over time or distance. See what is expected along the route, including special weather statements. Amazing. Well worth the investment, just to spend some time dreaming up trips of what could be possible for your vacation.
