I enjoy listening to the sermons. God speaks to me as I listen.
Such an awesome app to worship with. Very user friendly and easy to learn how to use. Thank you so much and may God bless you!!
My favorite app is IDisciple. No other place online has this constant source of inspiration and help for believers. It’s my all the time go to when I need answers of any tuff subject. Gods word always leads me back in the right direction!!
I receive spiritual blessings and encouragement from iDisciple 😇
It’s impossible not nourish yourself and others with so precious word. Every day I’m seeking a word and get nourished for so good devotionals. Excellent .
I have been so blessed by this app. I use it every day. GOD speaks to me through this app and I can almost always find something relevant to something I’m going through on here. There is sooo much content on the paid version from sermons, songs, devotionals, you can read or listen to the Bible in multiple translations. You can also search for specific topics as well. I recommend this app to everyone. Also if you pay the $40 per year as a paid member you get a free monthly Christian movie rental and some of the money goes to help give people clean water! What else could you possibly ask for? I have several Christian apps for prayer, or the Bible but I use this more than any of them.
This app is great for several reasons, there are a ton of amazing devotionals and growth plans written be professional authors and leaders in the church. There are several downfalls however that can ruin the app for some people. First off the fact that they lock you into a daily limit and try to force you to buy into their membership is very disappointing. I understand the reasoning but for a Christian app I should not feel forced to pay a monthly fee for something other Christian apps offer for free. Another downfall is that many of the devotionals and growth plans are based on one specific Lutheran faith and don’t include anything from the other Christian faiths.
I have been using iDisciple on and off for about a year now. I can’t tell you how much this app has helped me during low times and/or spiritually dry times. I have found so many great devotionals that have gotten me through the day (and have given me a much greater understanding of God/Jesus), and I found some really great pastors whose sermons I now cherish. iDisciple is a phenomenal resource for Christians who own a smartphone…instead of spending time on YouTube or Reddit, this is a great way to get closer to what matters most in this life. I am going to make some suggestions for the developers, only because I think the app could be improved for the good of the user-base. 1) a listening queue and playlist support, so people can add sermons to a playlist and listen through them for hours on end (much like can be done with YouTube or some podcast players). This allows people to press play and not have to go searching for another sermon after listening to just one. 2) The video sermons should be made to background play (so I can turn my screen off while a video sermon is being played). At the moment, when a video sermon is being played, I can’t turn my screen off without the audio cutting off. (I usually just listen to the audio of a sermon so having the screen on is a waste of battery/energy for me). 3) I would love to see Billy Graham’s archived sermons on here. As well as the free Timothy Keller sermons (that are already available via podcast through iTunes). 4) Dark Mode. I use iDisciple usually in the morning when my eyes are pretty sensitive to bright lights. Giving iDisciple a dark mode would modernize this app tremendously. Those are just some suggestions for an already superb app. This really is an incredible app and I can’t wait to see how it improves in the future.
If you’ve had it for while and paid for it, it suddenly doesn’t open anymore. No matter what you do. Had this problem for a while. Manually logging in works but why is this not in faqs or sent out to users. Be proactive.
The app worked for the longest time and out of the blue it just stopped. It asks for my log in information as as soon as it’s validated it boots me completely out of the app.
