Hello! Professional video artist checking in! I came across this app through an Instagram ad and was mostly drawn in by the 3D effect. The way the effect is depicted in the ad makes it seem as though you can draw a curve map which is that applied to the photograph as a 3D space. This is not the case. In fact most of your photos will likely not be available for use with the 3D effect unless you take the majority of your photos in portrait mode. The app seems to rely on the 3D meta-data embedded in the photo. There is only one slider to control any parameters of the effects, a “depth“ slider, which changes the depth of the wiggling effect. There are no other options other than this one wiggling a fact, and you can’t even change the direction it wiggles out. I was unable to get the same quality as depicted in the ad, but that is not a surprise as I have found that the majority of ads over-blow the actual capability of the app they advertise. As for the other effects included in this app, I found that most of them are no better or differ than those in other apps. Many of those apps are free or reasonably priced. Obviously, in the free version you’re going to be limited but even the paid options are no better than free things in other apps. With that said, the free version of this app is barely function. You’ve got watermarks, next to no editing options, and you’re faced with ads upon ads upon ads upon ads. These ads are longer, typically around the 30 second range. Right off the bat they hit you with a big splash screen offering you a free three day trial at the end of which you were automatically subscribed to the weekly plan. That to me is a bit outrageous, especially with just how difficult it is to find the “no thanks” option. The weekly plan costs $4.99 a week. That is INSANE. Your other option is to subscribe for $29.99 a year. Pretty obvious what the better option is, even though if you take the trial you are automatically subscribed to the not-so-great option. That’s kind of shady practice right there. Realistically, speaking as someone who frequently pays for video, photo, and audio software on this platform, the features of this app are simply not worth what they are trying to charge you, regardless of which plan you take. Apps like Enlight, Werble, and Plotaverse give you enough free features to make the app usable, and if you’re willing to pay that much for an app the paid features of those apps give you much bang for your buck. For a 3D effect relying on metadata, PopPic does a slightly better job with more options, and it’s free (I think, if not it’s a small one-time price).
Literally never done this but the ads for this were so fake I felt the need to write a review. You can’t add 3D effects. This is basically a filter to a photo. Straight garbage.
This app is the worst. You have to pay for almost everything. Then ads constantly pop up.
Redesigned app took away most filters rendering it pretty much useless. And now you want me to subscribe to get them back? This isn’t the TV Guide it’s software.
You paid $5 a week to use :/
Deceiving advertisement! The ad stated that the app is free but they forced you to purchase it before the trial started! Within a sec into running the app, there was too many advertisements pop up and you couldn’t even do anything. Bad bad bad! Not worthy to download this app.
They charge you even after you delete the app
The app literally requires you to pay for a monthly subscription to use it. You can’t save your photo edits without a watermark. Don’t waste your time unless you’re willing to add another monthly bill to your expenses. 1 Star.
a lot of filters to choose. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I tried for a day and I am not satisfied, want to cancel my free trial but there’s no option to do so
