I’ve used this since I was the only employee. It helped me save a ton of time. Now I have 10 employees and we use the financing and so much more. Love Housecall pro. We’re growing together.
Are used to work for a big box company that wrote out every invoice. This system is so so so much better. I’ll make that company look stupid when I go behind them.
I love it.. i do everything on it.. scheduling, payments (pushes to quickbooks).. the only problem I’ve had is it sometimes didn’t push the payment or invoice to quickbooks but it was my fault for putting certain characters in the line items like / () ; as soon as I learned that, I haven’t had any problems... and their support staff is really great I do absolutely everything on my phone.. I had to log onto the computer a few times to set up certain things... It’s also really great for getting reviews.. you link it to your google business page and Facebook and after the job is invoiced/ paid, they automatically send another email or text if it doesn’t have Their email asking how the service was with a star rating they can just click right there on the 5 stars and be done, or they have the option to write something in it’s super dumb easy quick for the customer to give a review... one other thing you can set up; after the job is done, you can choose how long weeks months days whatever for a postcard to be sent out with whatever you want to say on it. You set it up once and never think about it again.. the whole thing is pretty sweet.
Thursday at about 7:30 I received a call from my customer, asking why I refunded him. Told him we didn’t issue a refund it must be an error, but I would look into it. Well logged into the app, and sure enough. Without any notice, they decided to issue a refund, without first notifying myself or calling the customer, to verify if the transaction was authorized. Just decided soon themselves to send the money we worked hard for back to the customer, for a job we worked hard for. We had to tunnel below this home. Literally dig a tunnel by hand no machine under the homes foundation and repair broken pipe. So let’s see tunnel dug, requires manpower. Customer paid by only means he could afford. Credit card. This was thousands of dollars. Not hundreds. Not everyone has that kinda cash laying around especially during these times from pandemic. So Thursday night 7:30 refunded over 7,000 dollars a customer paid me, via emailed invoice. Today Friday payroll is due. Well sorry guys I can’t pay you for working. Someone decided to refund our money. Btw now I also have to inform a customer that we’re unable to finish his home because wait!! Wait for it!!! Someone decided to refund money a customer paid us. Without proper cause. Yep!! I was just about to upgrade my package and go full on XL online booking, online Pricebook, direct buy and ship products to customers home. Last year we did 3.75 mil in sales. Was extremely happy up until, someone made that fatal mistake. Looks like I will be moving my business and our money elsewhere, tonight I will also email my other franchise owners, that we are still looking for a new partner to manage our companies. As this was a test run for me to see if I personally approved and if could handle my businesses across Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. Well that’s enough for now. I have to get to work Sams Club remodel begins Monday and still checking material deliveries. Such a shame could have been a good fit
I love it. Makes it is easy for both side between the owner, the employee and for the customer. Communication is important to have a successful business, and house pro call is the right app to use.
We started our company using only QB and HCP has played a huge role in our company’s growth over the past 2 years. There are a few features that could be better and I’d love to see a mapping feature that finds the most efficient route when visiting multiple addresses in one day (like Jobber 🤭). That being said, the HCP teams are consistently working to better their product and services!
Good for bringing in more reviews Not the best app out in the field especially your price book doesn’t make it easy for your employees to search for different job categories If you need to talk to someone the only way to get a hold of them is through instant messenger you can’t get a hold of someone on the phone to help solve issues

I don’t know why this bug still hasn’t been fixed yet, it’s been around for at least 2 years now. When I run HCP on my 11 pro max it makes my phone overheat, the screen dims and the phone slows down a lot and starts to freeze. Ios14 didn’t fix the issue, and no amount of delete and reinstall and factory resets fix the issue. This is a HCP issue that they are refusing to fix.
