Beyond unprofessional

I agree 100% with everything Steven wrote- “Used to be good” review. I have had the exact same experience/issues. I have received threatening emails suggesting I am using the app in a commercial way which is not the case. I contacted support who told me not to worry, it’s a free service, and that I should delete and reinstall the program. I did and shortly after received yet another threatening email about misuse- at which time they blocked my ability to utilize the app. Very disappointing, very frustrating experience. I never write reviews, etc, but felt the need now because of the manner in which I was treated.

If you don’t want to pay....stay away! Hey if you want revenue teamviewer get advertisers. Facebook is free. Instagram is free. I’m sure their companies are worth a heck of a lot more than teamviewer. I predict this app will be dead in a year.

Not so great anymore...

Long term user, for the past 8 years or so, to help my mother with her computer issues long distance. All of sudden free sessions are limited, making this app rather useless and leaving with with a long trip to install something else. If you need money, fine, but offer something affordable and monthly! Inflexibility in the key to demise.

Accused of using commercially

Like another one-star rated reviewer I too get a display after five minutes that says it appears you are using this commercially. I am not. I view a running app on my laptop sitting on my dresser at home. I too would pay less. Maybe $5/mo. But $49/mo. Way too steep. I used to recommend, but not any more. I am now writing software which eventually users could watch the app periodically their pc using team viewer. But they’ve lost my and future prospects for my app when it is completed.

Really? Used for years and now I’m accused of commercially using it?

As the previous user noted, I also have been getting bumped off after 5min with it telling me that only non-commercial use has unlimited use. I have literally used this to help load software or clean up remotely my desktop that I gave to my parents as they retired and live in a another state. I have always used my laptop to do this but just recently starting using my iPad and have had no problem, till now. Seriously have a better way of telling if somebody is trying to use this for free in a business type setting. I’m in IT it’s possible.

[UPDATE: They seem to have fixed this since my original review. I have updated from two stars to four now. Would be five stars if they gave us the option to move around the way LogMeIn does where the cursor stays in the middle of the screen and the background moves around instead. Much easier to work that way.] This works normally on the iPhone, but it does not work at all on iPad. You can’t pinch/zoom, and it’s like the left click is always active no matter what you do. I just tried in on my iPhone and it worked normally. I wanted to send an app support ticket, but they don’t allow you to do that unless you’re a paying customer... but they charge $50 a month, which is just not something a once in a while casual user will do... So, unfortunately, they get the bad review until they fix it. Hopefully someone is looking at these, but I won’t hold my breath. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!
