Play Music is my favorite music app, and its normally amazing. However, after the most recent iOS update, the app continually crashes (it brings up a notification after every time I close the app). In addition, when I select a song it skips it and shuffles to another. The app currently isn’t letting me remove songs from playlists as well. Unfortunately all of these issues arrived only recently, though it hasn't affected my general use. Please try to improve this with the next update!
The app constantly and randomly skips music that has already been downloaded. Crashes often and is unusable with Car Play.
i strongly believe an ios update is far over due for this app. we need podcasts and an overall better userface that androids get. i feel extremely discriminated against.
i don’t like this app. if you have full storage on your phone you’re not aloud to listen to music. i had to buy a whole new thing (spotify) and it works way better
No longer lets me skip songs of a playlist of my own songs. Says I need a play subscription. Again this is music I uploaded and own.
I think this app is amazing because, you can have one radio with all your fav songs! You just have to press the arrows to skip the song, or go back. This is really useful in the morning when you just need to calm down in the morning.
I for the most part only use this in the car. The CarPlay version of this app rarely works at all anymore.
This is the best music app out there currently, but it’s not without flaws. It has all kinds of bugs in CarPlay. For instance, when I try to access my downloaded playlists, it tells me “getting music,” and stays stuck there until I give up and access it through my phone. Also, songs regularly have interference, as if I was playing a scratched record, even though the songs have been downloaded (ie: it’s not due to poor streaming quality). Lastly, the font is so ridiculously small and there’s no way to change it because it’s not compatible with Apple’s software. Who’s fault that is,I have no idea—but it’s annoying. What I like about the app is that I can create radio playlist and then download them. This allows me to listen to tons of new music without having to pay to stream it. This is a feature Apple’s app doesn’t offer. I hope Google will further develop this app, although they don’t seem to push out updates very often.
Besides having to listen to 30sec+ adds literally every two songs and the app won’t continue playing unless I open pull up app to view the adds for it to continue music on it is really annoying. fact is that I can’t leave my phone on the table to play music while I’m doing something, it’s not possible with this music app because it will not play music when your screen is idle or off
