Purely bad
Having read a well written article about this app I decided to give it a shot. You have to pay to even use the service, that is just bad development. And it’s just a bunch of people looking to cam and show off their bits. There are better ways to spend your money, also better alternatives to pay and play. User beware.
frozen without explanation!
Pure is a favorite past time of mine. The feeling on the app is nothing like Tinder, it's so much more enjoyable. I love that chats time out! But in recent updates much has changed. Now people can "instant chat" you, meaning whether you are interested in said person or not... suddenly you are forced to confront them. Im not sure how people are able to bypass having a timer with me. Certain ways of initiating chats does allow chat partners to skip that threat entirely. I miss the old days of Pure. The no photos or only one photo option. I miss everyone feeling that 24 hour time limit when they chat with me. I strongly dislike the timer disappear option being available the entire 24 hour period, why not the last couple hours? Lately, my account has been being frozen A LOT! I am a real person! I've been off and on Pure for 3 years now, I never have asked for money, I am of legal age, I can't think of what activity of mine is suspicious. It is so unbelievably disappointing that the Pure team doesn't at least tell me the reason as to why I am frozen.
Depressing and demonic
please do not waste your time with this app and everybody is in London or New York or Texas thousands of miles away from you.I guess the new agenda they’re trying to push a long way.

im conflicted
i really like the concept of this app… but the execution isnt so great. i only turned 18 about 6 months ago and have had numerous men well over 30 talk to me about how they wish they could have been talking to me a year ago. some people (men) on this app are repulsive. being anonymous opens a door for people to be absolutely disgusting on this app. also PLEASE MAKE A REPORT BUTTON FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO HAVE AFFAIRS. i feel so disgusting every time someone adds me and their bio reads “married and looking for something discreet”. its an automatic block from me but i end up feeling absolutely sick for the rest of the night knowing theres someone out there unknowingly being cheated on and im nothing but a witness. like i said, i really want to like this app… but just the people on here ruin it. the app claims to have a safe and respectful atmosphere but i always feel like an object when i talk to people on here.
Not worth it - Especially for Canadians
There are not that many users in my area (Toronto). I purchased the subscription hoping for better results but realized there are only close to 20 or so users in my area that kept repeating. I got 0 value from the subscription ($30) and there are expensive in app purchases you still need to make. I’ve only been on the app a few days but I can see this will not result in any outcome as my area just doesn’t have users on there… I requested a refund and didn’t receive it. The support is horrible. Please beware and do not purchase anything until you explore and research this app in your area. This may work in certain countries in US or Europe but it’s totally crap in Canada. Do not waste your time.
Cool concept horrible execution
I downloaded pure to try something new and see what it was about but I can’t even do anything unless I pay for their subscription so I'm stuck unable to actually check out the app and see how I feel about it. It is a really cool dating app concept but the fact that they require you to pay for their subscription to do anything in the app is stupid and makes sense why it doesn’t have a lot of people as I read these other reviews because I don’t have to pay for tinder or bumble or any other dating app to use it but pure I have to pay
