Just disappointing all around
I thought this might be fun to try but the amount of heterosexual straight men who make up the clientele of this app is laughable/gross. About 65% will openly show interest in you even if there are no kinks shared between you two just to waste your time and try to get you to be into something that is inherently not at all a kink for you. There is also an ENORMOUS amount of men on the app who claim they are ‘dominant’ when in reality they just want to control others bodies, rather than be respectful doms. About half of the men’s profiles I scrolled through say “they are rubbing it right now” or “hard right now” whilst they are scrolling through the app just looking at people. Ew. Many ask for sex on demand whether it be in their public bio or once a chat starts. There’s a huge amount of married people cheating on their partners and many of the women who are ‘single’ are actually couples who are unicorn hunters even though there is a couple feature. This app has become akin to those pop up ads from illegal websites that claim ‘Sex near you now!’ Gross. This app would be much better if they limits the amount of heterosexual men and then monitored how people behaved. For example, if you like someone’s profile, but you have no kinks in common there should be a message reminding you not to waste people’s time and to focus on finding something that you are actually interested in rather than pushing your kinks onto someone else.

You need to pay in order to see and be seeing, you can’t do anything beyond to waste your time making a profile for nothing.

I got banned for no reason when I wasn’t rude or anything I’m not happy I had some good conversations going and now I can’t even talk to the people anymore thanks
Basically pay to use
With how closed off the app is for people that don’t have a subscription, i’m surprised they don’t just have you purchase the app. Unless i’m missing something, after you register, you basically cannot do anything without a subscription. Can’t talk to people, can’t view people, you can’t use pretty much any feature. Now, i’m not saying that there’s anything wrong with having a subscription within your app, but there is something wrong when people can’t even see what they are getting into before they buy it. What motivation is there to buy the subscription at all? Because the app is pretty? I feel there is a lot of potential from this app, but my money is not about to go into an app blindly, especially with the amount of negative reviews i’ve seen. If they offered a free trial so you can have some idea of what you’re getting into, it may be easier to decide whether it’s worth the purchase or not. In the state it’s in now, it’s not.

Fake profiles
Needs better monitoring of fake profiles.
I like the build, but the membership and the members count aren’t there yet
I tried out the membership and it was pretty sub-par. There’s about 100 people within 150 miles of me. Of the 4 matches or so that I got, they were all scammers. I like the baseline app, I like the features it has and think it works intuitively, but the member count is poor and the membership is far overpriced considering such.
Honest review
Gave this app a 2 week shot. Here’s what to expect. As a male, you’re going to have to pay to request to chat to anyone, which doesn’t guarantee a conversation to start. Even then, the attractive woman on there are getting an overwhelming amount of messages. It’s evident the app’s income is dependent on people buying to communicate in addition to paying to see “Ads” that people post. Overall the app design does a good job of hiding how actually creepy everyone is on here. You’re better off using other apps where there is more transparency and opportunity for whatever you’re looking for.
Unimpressive app, seems like a cash grab
Pure is missing so much in terms of a fetish or even kink community. The app feels like a cash grab from a niche market. The lack of users should really tell you something 20k in New York??? So you’re looking like 1-2k maybe in some metropolitan areas. 60% seems to be male according to some research, 37% female so almost 2 male for 1 female 3% nonbinary If you think this is for you go for it, but you’re going to be grinding to get a date. If you want another job you should try this app.
Not free, or worth the price
- App requires you to buy a membership in order to post your profile - Your likes do not save. I like a bunch of people, and then the next day had to like them all over again. - On a hunch that the app wasn’t showing my likes to people unless I bought a gift to give them, I noticed the person who I gave a gift to was the only like that carried over to the next day - If you don’t live in a major city in the US, your prospects are going to be very limited. So not only do I have to keep liking the same people, but new people to try my luck with are rare. - The filter system for finding exactly what you’re looking for is horrible.
