However, strangely, the expected arrival times for orders do not match the expectations shown in the actual shipment tracking pages (different in my case by like a week).
My first (and last) time using Google shopping was not great. They promoted a first purchase discount which I tried to take advantage of and it continuously gave me a billing error and indicated it was my credit card. I corrected and verified all information on my Google Pay account and it still wouldn’t place the order. I called customer service and they said they couldn’t help with the problem but that an account specialist would look into it. I got an email a couple of days later stating that the error was either 1) I had already used the discount or 2) my billing info was incorrect and that I should try the purchase without the discount and “be on the look out for future promotions”... wow. Not only was the issue not identified but no solution either. No further inquiry about my situation? They can’t see my blank account history that no previous orders had been placed or discounted?Not exactly inspiring confidence in a “Google guarantee”. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.
Easy to use, and you have access to almost anything you need
I’m a local guide, I got a promo email from google stating I would get $20 off a purchase. I downloaded the app only to find that it’s basically full of uninteresting things that companies are trying to get rid of, and encouraging consumers to spend money on things they don’t need. Total waste of time and money. Google simply cannot compete with Amazon, I deleted the google app form my devices and won’t ever come back.
I ordered something and google offered a coupon and applied it. Then I find out that google then canceled the same order because using the coupon THEY offered me violates their terms and conditions. What a joke, stick with Amazon
I’ve tried to place two different order on this app and both were cancelled on the day they were supposed to get delivered because apparently they were out of stock. If something is almost gone I would think you would tell the costumers instead of making them waste their time waiting for them to not even come. Will not be using this again I am so frustrated.
Ordered something from Best Buy and it never came. The tracking status has been stuck at awaiting delivery scan for weeks. The app doesn’t have a way to cancel my order. I was hoping to use this as an alternative to Amazon but no luck.
What's up with the annoying popup everytime you add or remove an item
Ordered from google express, and got a parcel from amazon! Customer support sent me an automated response, emailed them again.. but got nowhere. Basically it has turned into a shi**y marketplace
My package came severely damaged and I contacted support about it. They did not try to help me at all. Worst support ever. You’d think a company like google would treat their customers better—Guess not. Stay away and stick to amazon
